Jabar Gaffney would be a great signing, especially having come from McD's system.

i think stokley will play the #4 wr in 4 Wr sets on third down...simply because he is so clutch however he gets injured alot lately, so im sure Gaffney is insurance in case of injury and in case chad jackson fails.....its a cost effective cheap signing. we need a Wr depth pick in the draft anyways. if we sign gaffney that isnt really a need untill the 6th or seventh rd if at all...so we can spend our first picks on defense....

I know Eddie is our Current #2, but I have been hearing that they want to move Eddie to the slot and use him like the PAts used Wes Welker. I was just wondering where that leaves Stokley.

Marshall, Gaffney, Royal in the slot. I like the sound of that. Gaffney is a very solid player! I don't think you gotta worry about another parker or colbert. This guys proven himself. And not to mention producing when you got a welker and a moss on the same field.

#4 for Mr Concussion? Nah seriously I am sure whoever comes in will have to compete against the starters obviously. If they win the start then I say they earned it. JMO

This guy has been very consistent in his career. And really doesnt miss any games. This would be a very very smart cost effective move.

I really like Jabar Gaffney. His name does not create any buzz but I always watched him make nice plays, he has sure hands ad won't be expensive.

I smell another Keary Colbert, Sammie Parker signing ahead, but it's not costing anyone much so...

the guy has 70 catches for 917 yds and seven td's as the number 4 reciver in MCD old offense. seems to me he is the perfect complement to marshall, jackson, royal and stokley.

heck its certainly better than who Shanny tried to bring in last year....

    i can see it now...

marshall lines up at the 1, chad jackson lines up at the 2, royal lines up in the slot, gaffney lines up in the 4. stokley is our depth all around. and arrignton lines up as the back.....thats a pretty lethal spread offense....they have a plan and they are executing it...patience is key here

I also wouldn't necessarily be upset to see Royal in the slot more with a bigger #2 guy outside.

Not AT ALL saying that Gaffney is a better receiver than Royal but its more weapons on the field.

It would also help Marshall by drawing some coverage...
Agreed! And from what I have read he has been very effective in the post season as well, which to me says he produces when called upon.

He's familiar with McD and vice versa. It would be a good fit, and he will be relatively cheap.
