Look at our potential 3-4 DEs:
Marcus Thomas 6'3 305
Kenny Peterson 6'3 300
Carlton Powell 6'3 300
Ryan McBean 6'5 290
Darrell Reid 6'2 288
Nic Clemons 6'6 300
Do you guys think we still should consider a player like Tyson Jackson at #12? Maybe an ILB or OLB would make more sense, unless Raji is available.sigpic

I don't really have a good feel for whether or not they see Larsen as a legit ILB start or simply backup / support.Hate List for 2016-2017 Season: 1. Oakland, 2. New England, 3. Kansas City, 4. Pittsburgh and 5. Houston (yes, Houston....)

I've long been on record of saying that 3-4 DEs generally do not go in the Top 20 selections, let alone #12, due to the fact it's not an impact position in a 3-4 defense. While I don't really view our DE position to be settled or manned by excellent players, if we could tap one more guy, maybe Vonnie Holiday or Kevin Carter for a year or two, we'll be relatively well off with all the competition and depth.
I still think the best draft value if we stay at #12 will be a secondary prospect, such as Malcolm Jenkins, Vontae Davis, or Sean Smith. I think the best player available might be Knowshon Moreno, but it does not appear we'll be going the RB route. The only other options I see are Everette Brown, Brian Cushing, or a reach for Larry English or Tyson Jackson.
