Why not?
Because he's a 5'11 system quarterback.
No thanks.

Because he's 5'2"! In all seriousness, I always get a little worried about system qbs like him. Didn't really light it up against top notch competition. Hope I'm wrong though, I've been a fan of Chase's except when he played CU.Leave a comment:

A lot of coaches really liked him during the senior bowl workouts,-although his performance wasnt very good during. I think that probably earned him a 5th round pick, however he just doesn't have the raw physical talent, and yes also lacking that height that you'd really like to see in a QB, I'd consider him a bad pick if we tried to pick him up in the 5th as a backup.Leave a comment:

We need to scrap the idea of getting a new QB. J-Mac has nade clear that Cutler will be our QB. It's now up to Jay to facilitate the process. Jay has also said that he will be at Dove Valley April 17th for the first manadatory work-outLeave a comment:

wait does college use a different rating system for QB ratings?Leave a comment:

Daniels will scrub it up in the NFL cuz he is just like all spread QBs... Weak arm,
has the chance to make reads without dropping back, thrived in a spread offense,
and unlike a lot of the other higher profile spread QBs he choked in big games.Leave a comment:

He would be extremely lucky to be drafted that high...The offense was pretty simple, almost all his reads were pre-determined which is the reason for the high completion percentage. He's gritty and you have to love his attitude, but because of his physical limitations it is very unlikely he will make an NFL roster. He may go undrafted and his best shot is probably as a practice squad player.Last edited by Den615; 03-24-2009, 08:15 PM.Leave a comment:

Since I've heard we're switching to the Spread offense under McD's system, this guy would be perfect. May be a bit undersized at 6'0ft but hey, the numbers and honors above don't lie. ^^^^^^^^
Very intelligent obviously, make very few mistakes in the pocket, accurate, and has a cannon arm. Reminds me a bit of tom brady actually, he come's from Missouri University in which is also under the Spread offense system, so he obviously has experience.
Cutler want's out, McD screwed up with cutler, let's get this guy. He's projected to go in the 4th or 5th round I think, idk why but he is. Even if cutler get's traded we have an awesome backup and a really good QB competition at traning campTags: None
