The draft experts know a lot more than you do and all of them have Brown going in the first round. PLUS Brown in considered to be one of the best 3-4 OLBs in the draft, and Dumervil is more of a pass rush DE in the 4-3.

P.S. Brown is rater higher than your boy Matthews in everyone's rankings, so why do you insist that he's not?

I like the mock, but I'm don't know if Dorell Scott is the answer at NT. I'd rather get one of the big guys like Chris Baker or Samie Lee Hill.

If Elvis Dumervil was 3 inches taller he would have been a 1st Round Pick. That was always the knock on him.

As far as Clay Matthews , you have a player who already plays LB. He doesn't have to learn it like Everette Brown. That is the difference. Matthews will eat Browns lunch in covering RB's and TE's out of the backfield.

Look at Vernon Gholston who played DE , it takes time!!! Clay Matthews can step right in and play.

the other knock on dumervil as an outside linebacker was questions about his awareness, drop back ability, and lateral quickness

i dont know much about matthews but ive heard he is nothing special when blitzing, a 3-4 olb needs that

The order of who gets what pick isn't even right. Was this done at the end of a three day drunk?

Rey is not good in coverage. That is and will continue to be his problem until he can play more under control.

The biggest problem is the DL. Gilbert would be sweet to get, but in all the draft stuff I see and read, the biggest upside is with guys like Hill and Martin. They and Roy miller are moving up boards because of that and the thin crop of 3-4 potential DL players.

I almost wish we would trade down and grab Hill, Martin and Miller in the 3rd and 4th rounds. Adding to Gilbert in the late 1st, I think in two years we will have a beast of a defensive line. Add a Mount Cody next year and WOW!
