Just because Cutler got traded, lets not forget that hes a top QB already in this league, and a guy that plays well in the clutch. A playmaker. I know you all are ridding McDummys jock right now but dont get it twisted. Cutler is a great QB. thats not up for debate

Orton is not the answer. this much is for sure, hes a stop gap until we get a new QB in here. Now you might not like brady quinn and think hes not the answer also. But dont start acting like orton is anything but a fill in qb..

Why is everyone getting so excited about the possibility of acquiring a QB from the Browns who has done exactly nothing. Sure, he had a decent game against us last year, but put me in against our D last year, and maybe I would be okay too. Actually, I would be terrible, but you understand the idea. Lets roll with Orton, get some solid D picks this year, and see what Orton can do. If all fails with him, we still have that extra pick next year in the first round to go after a QB or use it to trade for a free agent.

If John Madden was in his prime, I wouldn't want that fader pc of %$#@&*. Let madden go out to pasture where he belongs, and should have been for about the last 6 or 7 yrs.

what is your suggestion, Sanchez? Look at the statistics of first round QB's they dont usually turn into stardome.Look at Jamarcus Russel, that was a huge waste of money he will never be anything, hes not very bright and with those chicken ankles he is an injury wating to happen. I am up to better suggestion, just dont see any!

when was that?during the skid at last seasons end when we only needed one game to secure the division,all those yards mean squat with a losing record,maybe someday he will an awesome Q.B sure looks like it. but he was never "clutch"in Denver

Actually those were great trades they did. Out of those trades they gave up Vick and Manning, and got LT Brees Rivers Merriman and Kaeding. 5 starters (4 still with teams) for 2 QB one who is now in jail and ther who was regarded as a bust until the superbowl. But they got 2 pro bowl qb's hall of famer RB, one of the best pass rushing LB's and a very very good kicker. Chargers did well in those trades.



Lol totally forgot bout that trade. Biggest ever and was a great trade for dallas where they thougt they were screwed. That trade nearly built the dynasty team.

It was a major one-sided mess, and Dallas never looked back...that is, until Jessica showed up!!!!

But the Ricky Williams trade made Ditka look like an idiot, and on the very day he made it. Why did he have to give up all his picks and so much more for one stud RB? I still remember him saying they were off to make their afternoon Tee Time. What a disaster!!!!!

LOL not as funny as when they traded up to get Ryan Leaf right behind Manning. The Chargers traded two first-round picks, a second-round pick, reserve linebacker Patrick Sapp and three-time Pro Bowler Eric Metcalf for Leaf

those picks ended up being Andre Wadsworth who the chargers were lucky didnt amount to much. However he was picked right before Charles Woodson
Next year was Pro Bowler David Boston
