      Deeeeeeeefffeeeeense!!

BJ Raji at #12. If you have seen this guys combine video, he has amazing feet for a 300+ pounder. His footwork and quickness reminds me of Warren Sapp. Also, I cant find the link, but I heard that his positive drug test was a false positive. So conduct issues may be less of a concern.

At #18 the best available linebacker. I am hoping that it would be Rey Mal, because it seems like he would be a leader for years to come and could be a centerpiece for the D (after Dawkins leaves in the next 3 years or so). The other LB's? Cushing (I am concerned about steroids with this kid) and Matthews is intriguing because he walked on at a program like SC and worked his way from ST to LB. Plus he has good genetics with 3 generations of pro football players in his family.

As far as Sanchez goes - - I really like the guy, I think he's a leader, knows how to win and will have a great nfl career. BUT we may not need him. If McD is the genius I believe him to be and he can turn a High School QB like Cassell into an 11-5 QB in the nfl, he may have plenty to work with in Orton. If you havent done so already, read the Mile High Report on Orton. Its in another thread titled "Who is Kyle Orton?". Its lengthy but gives some real in depth analysis as to what KO has the potential to be. It gives some insight into why McD might not think we need to draft an early round QB.
Remember: If you dont feed the trolls - they will go away! Neither logic nor a compelling argument will make a difference.

        Huge Hit!

This hit right here is why we should draft Rey. It has been one of the most vicious hits in CFB ever. Give credit to Cowan for getting up - - I thought he was done for the day after this hit.

One thing is for sure, the broncos WILL draft a QB. McD made it clear at mini camps that he wanted a 3rd QB that will be competitive. For now, there is all sorts of rumors going around about Sanchez, and Denver moving up in the draft. We'll all have to wait and see what happens. :go:

They'd be absolute idiocy to pick ANY offensive players before the first 3 rounds. We need DEFENSE people! There are good QB's in almost every draft. Use the 2 QB's we've got and build a killer D first. We need LOTS defensive players NOW vs. 1 player on offense. Seems pretty obvious to me.

            :salute!:

First of all, anyone that thinks Seattle is crazy enough to use the 4th pick in the draft t pick a player to sit on the bench for 2 or 3 years and have to pay that player the kind of money the fourth pick would make, to sit on the bench, is crazy themselves.
2nd point, Denver is putting up a lot of smoke screens to not let the other teams find out who they are interested in. Remember, when Cutler was drafted, no Bronco personel ever talked to him at the combines or at anytime before the day of the draft. They did this because they didn't want anyone to trade up ahead of them and draft their player.
Denver hs a lot of holes to fill, I think they will draft the best player available in the first round and fill needs with the other picks. Don't be surprised if the trade down a lot to accumulate more picks.

2 1sts and a 2nd sounds more pricey then Cutler (minus Orton).

God help me if we make a move that stupid. We don't need a QB, at least not that bad.
Only fools bet against Tim Tebow.

                  Team Tebow #108

                  Yards, without points, mean nothing.

+1. We traded with Chicago because McDaniels saw something in Orton that he liked. He's the kind of guy that does well with this system. He and Simms will get a shot, unless Sanchez is still on the board at 12. Then we might take him. I'm of a mind that we should immediately call up the Bucs or Jets if that happens, though. Trade back and stockpile picks in the first three rounds.

Lastly, the talent of certain positions isn't as well and with the Browns picking at #18 players that I would like would likely be gone. The main player I do like in the draft is Mathews, because his father played with the Browns and his uncle was a mainstay with the Oilers.

Also, the Browns need a reciever and this year's top reciever won't be available that low.
                      okay dude
                      thats cool.
i guess we'll see what happends right.
Why I'd rather have McD over Shany.

                      Plain and Simple.

McD- A coach that can turn a 6th round QB
Into a Franchise QB ( Tom Brady)

Shany- A coach that can turn a 6th RB
Into a Franchise RB( Terrell Davis):salute!:
