Also, back to McShay's draft. The article link is: HERE

Here is what he has as needs for the Browns: OLB, WR, CB

I agree with 2 of those three. The Browns do need a Wide Reciever (with or without Edwards), the Browns do need an OLB and the Browns do need a DB but not to start. Just for depth. McDonald and Wright played very well and they deserve to start again. They are young and talented and will only get better.

So now just going by his criteria for the Browns needs (OLB, WR, CB) here is his selection:

      5. Cleveland Browns (4-12): B.J. Raji, DT, Boston College
Top three needs: OLB, WR, CB

That does not help the Browns top three needs that he himself set forth. So, let's look at his reasoning (Snarf even mentioned having Raji at DE in a 3-4 to try and make it sound more tempting)

      5. Cleveland Browns (4-12): B.J. Raji, DT, Boston College
Top three needs: OLB, WR, CB
Raji is the best player on the board at this point and would provide the Browns with a stout nose tackle in their 3-4 defense. He has the size and strength to anchor against double-teams in the running game and the burst and quickness to collapse the pocket and get to the quarterback as a pass-rusher.

Whoa! So the Browns need a nose tackle! Wow, didn't the Browns just have a nose tackle make it to the Pro Bowl? I believe they did. Hmm ... that doesn't make sense. He is not a pass rushing OLB, he is not a Wide Reciever, and he is not a defensive back. Poor selection using McShay's own criteria!

Since I do not have "Insider" I cannot possibly see what his second round selections are. So, his sole selection is extremely poor.
The Browns are gone; I'm not a fan of the Impostors

The real Browns are in Baltimore, see?

Case of don't listen to what I say, look at what I do. I mean don't look at what I do, listen to what I say. Hmm I don't know what I mean. The only people that can shake off failure better than NFL draft predictors are T.V. weatherpersons.

Who cares? This is a Broncos Country forum, not a Browns Country forum. Why do you think we care about the Browns? And why have you enjoyed doing this for 5 years? Do you have a life at all? Just wondering.

The man has just as much of a right to visit these forums as anybody, don't knock him for voicing himself. You are on these message boards too, that must mean that you don't have a life either

As a non-Broncos fan my opinion matters when it is not about the Broncos. My opinions matter when it comes to the Cleveland Browns. So, I am here discussing the offseason and season giving an outside perspective. There are multiple perspectives to any one event. Not just the narrow dogmatic view that you hold. The more you take into account other perspectives the less biased the story becomes.

Your opinion about the Browns? You don't like them. You can't stand them. The entire team is garbage. "If it's Brown flush it down" as the toilet humor applies.

The opinion of Mindfield? He doesn't care one way or the other. If the Browns suck, doesn't bother him one bit nor does it bother you. But your hostile reaction to my mere presence on this board and your determination to see me leave gives away how you feel about the team I love.

My opinion on the Browns? Love them. Loved them for years and likely will for many more.

Combine your opinions on the Broncos with Mindfield's and one gets a feeling of how at least a small section of Broncos fans feel. Then mix in me with how I feel about the Browns and a better clearer picture emerges of the Browns and Broncos from their fans perspectives. WIth myself and your fellow Bronco fans having intelligent discussions and not baiting each other, it will benefit this forum more.

Mark this down, if Maualuga is there for the Chargers at 16 they will take him. so I say grab him at 12. Just me but I think the kid is well worth the 12th overall pick. If one of the top DE's isn't there at 18 go with Matthews or Cushing.
