Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.
Thank you for understanding.

I agree Brace is an immobile plugger, overrated in the 2nd Rnd and a huge reach in the 1st. There are plenty of other NTs that can occupy space against the run, but can't pressure the QB, without wasting a 1st Rnd pick.
I don't agree that Jerry, Hood and Gilbert are NTs, they'd be DEs in a 3-4. Neither Jerry or Gilbert are pass-rushers and Gilbert isn't very quick, but Hood seems to be the complete package and the only one worth a 1st Rnd selection. I'd rate these DLmen:
Hood>Perry>Brace>Gilbert
Gilbert isn't quick? He ran a 4.87 40 at the combine. He also had a 35" vertical
Someone who is 288 and 6'6" doing that is very explosive IMO.
Have you ever watched him play? He was the most dominant DL I saw this year.

Thank you to my grandfather jetrazor for being a veteran of the armed forces!
Players I think the Broncos should draft, given their current draft picks and expectations of who other teams will be drafting. (I did a full 7-round mock with all the teams and picks. Whew!)
Draft Pick Player / Alternate
1-12. Jarron Gilbert, DT/DE, San Jose State / Robert Ayers, DE, Tennessee
1-18. Ron Brace, DT, Boston College / Chris Baker, DT, Hampton
2-48. Victor Harris, CB, Virginia Tech / Alphonso Smith, CB, Wake Forest
3-79. Chip Vaughn, S, Wake Forest / Derek Peques, FS, Miss. State
3-84. Pat White, QB, West Virginia / Chase Clement, QB, Rice
4-114. Marcus Freeman, LB, Ohio State / Mike Rivera, LB, Kansas
5-149. Graham Gano, K, Florida State / Louie Sakoda, K, Utah
6-185. Marlon Lucky, RB, Nebraska / Bernard Scott, RB, Abilene Christian
7-225. Greg Isdaner, OG, West Virginia / Nick Reed, DE, Oregon
7-235. Roland Martin, OG, Michigan State / James Holt, LB, Kansas
I hate to say it but this might be the worst mock I've seen.
I tend to agree. Both Gilbert and Brace have a good chance of being there at our second round pick. Chris Baker is a 3rd or 4th round pick with character issues.
The rest of the mock is average at best...I'll pass on this one
