    Very bad Browns selection.

The Browns already have a nose tackle and what they need is a pass rushing LB. B.J. Raji is a nose tackle in a 3-4 defense. The Browns need to fix the pass rush issues first and select the best available OLB. I have my reservations about Orakpo as he has disappeared in games and been a non factor and that was at the college level. Imagine him at the pro level and things do not look good for him. But still, even reaching and taking Orakpo is better than selecting Raji.
The Browns are gone; I'm not a fan of the Impostors

The real Browns are in Baltimore, see?

I personally think this trade idea is awful. First off, we don't want back to back selections, especially in the middle of the first round, it just screams bad.

Another note, we shouldn't have to trade away our third in order for this to work, its supply and demand. It would be more like there first and second for our first and other fifth.

If we could pick up there first and next years first for our first and third, that would be much better.

Did you put Raji at the Browns because McShay did??? He's not going to them at five, I would expect them to pick Crabtree after they trade Braylon away. Otherwise Orakpo is a much bigger need.

            So do the Broncos...

I don't think they would take Raji if Rogers is still on the team. He's one of the best NTs in the game.

Militant Bronco Mock Draft (V. 2.0) Final

Broncos are in an awkward position, they have many needs and a trading down and accumulating picks might be the best option for them. If they dont trade down they are going to have to reach on picks that fill areas on need. Broncos are going to add grown ass men in this draft.

              1st Round A - Tyson Jackson - DE - LSU

Analysis: A necessary evil for the 3-4. He might not even be on the board at 12 and he could slide to the late 20's if we dont take him. Crazy range for any player. But we need a power end.

1st Round B -Ron Brace - DT - Boston College

Analysis: A major reach but the best NT remaining on the board and the Broncos cant afford to let him slip out of their grasp. McDaniels has put an emphasis on stopping the run. Jackson and Brace go along way in fortifying the line no matter what scheme we use.

              2nd Round - Lawrence Sidbury - OLB - Richmond

Analysis: Small School prospect that has flown under the Radar. He was one of if not the fastest DE/OLB at the combine and one of the strongest. This kid has potential be dominant. Probably going to take a year or 2, but with coaching could be a boom type player. At least situational pass rusher in either scheme.

              3rd Round A - Chip Vaughn - S - Wake Forest

Analysis: Sure tackling, in the box, versatile safety. Learning from B-Dawk can only help. The future of the SS position is here.

              3rd Round B - Kevin Barnes - CB - Maryland

Analysis: Quality depth with an ability to be a number 2 corner at some point this season. The future of the Secondary begins to take shape.

              4th Round - Louis Vasquez - G - Texas Tech

Analysis: Not your typical Guard in the ZBS, but I dont think we will use a typical ZBS. We could use an upgrade over Hamilton.

              5th Round A - Johnny Knoxx - WR - Abilene Christian

Analysis: Reminds me of Wes Welker

              5th Round B - Hunter Cantwell - QB - Louisville

              Analysis: For Josh

              6th Round - Worrell Williams - ILB - Cal

Analysis: It would be a good story

              7th Round A - Ian Johnson - RB - Boise St.

Analysis: Ryan Clady cosigns. You never know. Very productive.

              7th Round B - Robby Felix - C - Utep

              Analysis: Future Prospect

Not bad, but my prayers are going out for Raji at 12 or 8(trade up) and then jackson at 18. If that can occur I'd be thrilled with day one regardless of the second rounders.
Being a Bronco fan is more important than being a fan of any coach or player in particular.

Oh BOU, you are still here?

On those selections. Most of those were good selections. Just they were to bad coaches on bad teams. Especially with Couch. He could have been good. But he was ruined by bad coaching and new offensive systems every year he was in the NFL. That is what ruined him.

Green, I'll give you that. He was a bad choice, period.

Edwards, Winslow, and Quinn. All extremely good choices.

Edwards was the young reciever that was hopefully going to do well in Cleveland. Too bad his attitude appears to have ruined it - but the Browns still got a couple of productive seasons out of him and may trade him for some decent draft picks. Winslow, he's one of the best young recieving TE in the game today. So to say he was a bust is just wrong. He was traded for the same compensation that the Giants got for Shockey. Last, Quinn. He looked good when he played and was healthy. Too bad Crennel had a love affair with veteran players and refused to sit them even when they proved they didn't deserve to play. Quinn should have started a lot earlier than he did. Mangini should see that and recognize who really has more upside - Quinn and plays him.
