Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.
Thank you for understanding.

who would be the best Developmental QB in the draft for Mcd
so who would we get if we go after a project QB....Tom Brandstater and do you guys think we would get josh freeman if we can? it's been bugging me a lot lately. He seems like a better QB to me than Sanchez or stafford...well it's just me then.
GOOOOO BRONCOS!!!!!!!
"Dude, I know what you mean, and I feel your frustration. Everybody only reads what they want to read. If you sound a bit negative about the team or a player, you will immediatley be flamed. They tend to get caught up on the most trivial bs ever
It's a huge part of the culture of this board you just have to learn how to deal with. You can go 5-6 pages explaining to these people"

I salute you :salute!:
"Standing tall and erect in the pocket, Willy feeling the pressure, he slips and slides and moves towards the goal, penetrating the line, he SCOOORRRRREEEEeeeeeees............ whooo."
Stephen McGee (6-3, 225) would be my first choice. He has an NFL arm and showed surprisingly good footwork at the East West Shrine Game and the combine. He'd be a 4th-5th round pick, but i think in 2-3 years he could be a legitimate NFL QB
My sleeper pick is Chase Patton from Missouri
6-4, 225
NFL Draft Analysis: Chase Patton barely played a lick of ball at Mizzou but he has the prototypical size that teams look for in their Quarterbacks. He could be a late round pick and the team that takes him will hope he can become the next Matt Cassell.
Pros: Prototypical Size, Good Arm Strength, Very Intelligent
Cons: Inexperienced

NFL Comparison: Matt Cassell - Patriots
Or we could pick the guy that kept him off the field...
3-4th Rnd Stephen McGee / Texas A&M
Would start next season
4-6th Rnd Curtis Painter / Purdue
Could be ready to start by 2011
I really want us to draft McGee, but he will not be ready to start in one season. I think he'll need atleast 2-3 years on the bench to work on his footwork and learning a very complicated NFL offense. I love his potential, and i really hope he's a bronco after the weekend
