  • who would be the best Developmental QB in the draft for Mcd

so who would we get if we go after a project QB....Tom Brandstater and do you guys think we would get josh freeman if we can? it's been bugging me a lot lately. He seems like a better QB to me than Sanchez or stafford...well it's just me then.

    GOOOOO BRONCOS!!!!!!!
"Dude, I know what you mean, and I feel your frustration. Everybody only reads what they want to read. If you sound a bit negative about the team or a player, you will immediatley be flamed. They tend to get caught up on the most trivial bs ever
It's a huge part of the culture of this board you just have to learn how to deal with. You can go 5-6 pages explaining to these people"

Stephen McGee (6-3, 225) would be my first choice. He has an NFL arm and showed surprisingly good footwork at the East West Shrine Game and the combine. He'd be a 4th-5th round pick, but i think in 2-3 years he could be a legitimate NFL QB

My sleeper pick is Chase Patton from Missouri
                6-4, 225
NFL Draft Analysis: Chase Patton barely played a lick of ball at Mizzou but he has the prototypical size that teams look for in their Quarterbacks. He could be a late round pick and the team that takes him will hope he can become the next Matt Cassell.

Pros: Prototypical Size, Good Arm Strength, Very Intelligent
                Cons: Inexperienced

NFL Comparison: Matt Cassell - Patriots

Chase Daniel would be a nice guy to pick up on the second day. The guy has a lot of upside.
Only fools bet against Tim Tebow.

                  Team Tebow #108

Or we could pick the guy that kept him off the field...

Daniels has no upside...he is not an NFL QB in any shape or form

You mean the guy that will go undrafted, is 5'11", and will be lucky to make an NFL practice squad?

Daniels was a good college QB, but Patton has a much better chance of making it in the NFL

Brian Hoyer (Michigan State QB) was rated the 4th best overall QB in this year's draft by some scout rankings.

He's a good QB. Why not him?

Very under the radar. If we're into the 5th round and haven't taken a QB, take Hoyer.

I really want us to draft McGee, but he will not be ready to start in one season. I think he'll need atleast 2-3 years on the bench to work on his footwork and learning a very complicated NFL offense. I love his potential, and i really hope he's a bronco after the weekend

If you say so. I'd put my money on Daniel over a guy who couldn't even win a starting job in college.
