Grahm Harrell in the 5th or later. Ya, the guy knows how to chuck the ball all over the field.

            Nate Davis, Ball State

            Hunter Cantwell, Louisville.

These two guys can be very good.

I think Ben Tate will be the best back taken in the 2010 draft. (5/3/10)

Daniel was a great college QB. He was a great fit for the system in Missouri in which he only had to make one pre snap read. That is why he started over Patton. Patton is a much better pro prospect. He has a good arm, good height, and is very smart (In other words a very good fit for this offense). Daniel is waaayyy to short, doesnt have an NFL arm, and may not be able to learn the system. Basically he is a gun slinger without the gun.

'If' you HAVE TO, get a QB in the second round or just get one next year.
                It's just THAT simple...

There might not be a QB taken in the 2nd round unless Freeman falls (he is a bad fit anyway). Its very likely we draft a QB (i think 4th round at the earliest), because we will not go into training camp with just 2 QB's on the roster. McDaniels will almost certainly look for a developmental QB in the mid to late rounds

Kinda like Cassel not being able to win a starting job over Leinart right? How has that turned out so far?

Name another college backup who has become a quality pro QB...

By the way, the jury is still out on Cassel. Playing on that NE offense is easy mode.
Only fools bet against Tim Tebow.

                      Team Tebow #108

                      Yards, without points, mean nothing.

Daniel's arm is fine. In all the scouting reports I've read and highlights I've watched I never saw anything to make me think his arm isn't up to par. And he's plenty smart. As Mayock says "he gets it". Sorry but I can't help but get the impression you're talking out your backside.

I'm sure the person who is arguing for Daniels backup read the article from ESPN (for those who get the magazine) it came out part way through the college season last year... The argument is the same... Daniels is undersized and the other Chase is "built" for the NFL.

My sleeper pick is Chase Patton from Missouri
                            6-4, 225
NFL Draft Analysis: Chase Patton barely played a lick of ball at Mizzou but he has the prototypical size that teams look for in their Quarterbacks. He could be a late round pick and the team that takes him will hope he can become the next Matt Cassell.

Pros: Prototypical Size, Good Arm Strength, Very Intelligent
                            Cons: Inexperienced

NFL Comparison: Matt Cassell - Patriots
I agree with your picks, TALL, good arms, can sit and learn for a year or two. There were some good college QB's, but they can't see over a Pro O-line. Clady is 6-6, so a guy like pat white is going to have it pretty tough.

You can put some teaching and experience to 6-2 and an arm, but you can't put 5" on a pat white.

I do like Graham Harrell, I don't know exactly how bad he looked in the combine, but the poise, patitence, and compitition he showed in the Texas game last years was impressive.

dont get all defensive, you're obviously a Chase Daniel fan and thats fine. But he is not a legitimate NFL QB. At best he will be a career back up, and thats if he's lucky. Im just looking for players who fit the system and have potential. Chase Daniel doesnt fall under either of those categories.
