  • #12 - Jarron Gilbert, #18 - Ron Brace

    To the Denver Broncos Organization:

#12 - Jarron Gilbert - DE - San Jose St. - At 6'5" 290 lbs., he can jump out of a pool, and do a 360 dunk from vert. Look at his Shrine Game practice footage. He's so quick off the ball, can hold up against the run, and is a great hand-fighter. The only guy in this draft who could get past Ryan Clady. Don't be scared because he comes from a small school (i.e. Clady). The best 3-4 Defensive end in this draft.

#18 - Ron Brace - NT - Boston College - 6'3" 335 lbs. The best true NT in this draft. Can hold up at the point of attack in the NFL, while taking up two blockers. A mountain of a man, he's not a sexy pick (don't tell him I said that), but exactly what the Denver Broncos need.

The Broncos offensive line was stellar last year with the additions of Clady and Harris, the defensive line may turn around just as quickly with the these two players. Don't let all the mock draft guys fool you with all the hype surrounding hybrid linebackers. These guys are SOLID, possibly All-Pro, and will be available. Not a reach at all. Get the big boys early.

those players sound good and all, but you should be able to get them in 2nd and 3rd round. so you can get 2 other guys in the 1st round and still get the guys you want after that

I wouldnt mind if we reached for Gilbert at 18, but 12 is too high.

If we can get Raji at 12, Gilbert might be a very good option at 18 or if we trade down a bit further.

Brace should be a 2nd rounder.

The whole world would laugh at us if we drafted guys that early. Hell they would have a field day with this expecially after the Cutler thing.

While many people will think this would be a major reach draft - I for one like it. McDaniels and Xanders have stated their draft board is clean and they will draft the Highest Rated Best Fit PLAYER. Wouldn't surprise me to see it fall this way

Your spamming of ridiculously reaching picks disgust me.

Definitely reaching, imo. Sorry, I can tell you like them, but they'll most likely still be around later.

Who cares??????? How many people are still laughing at Houston for drafting M Williams instead of R Bush. I believe the FO has a lot of expertise from watching NE for the past 8 years - Whatever draft we have I think we end up with PLAYERS WHO FIT not just athletes this year

                    12 - B.J Raji

                    18 - Jarron Gillbert

                    48 - Clint Sintim

We get these 3 and our defence instantly gets better

If Tyson Jackson is gone at 12 as is Sanchez and we some how get BJ Raji, then I could see us trading down the number 18 spot. The Ravens have already said they covet that pick and if we could trade down with them and pick up a third in the process I would be happy if we reached with the 26th pick and picked up Gilbert.

Hold up are you comparing a guy that was a top 3 pick of the draft when he came out with guys that are 2nd round picks... Are you freaking SERIOUS?

Blah what am I arguing with people that don't know football for, this won't happen anyways, our FO are not retards like some of our fans.

                        End of discussion

No offense but these two picks in the first round at these slots would have everyone in the league laughing at us.

                            1. Raji will probably not be there at #12.
                            2. Clint Sintim will probably not be there at #48.
                            3. Jarron Gilbert is better than Tyson Jackson (he just didn't go to LSU).
                            4. The picks being presented to us by the mock drafts are a handful of undersized (Everette Brown), or underachieving (Tyson Jackson) players.

You're missing the point - I'm not comparing the players, I'm only suggesting that whoever we draft will be the best fit players and WHO CARES what anyone else thinks
