  • What are the best prospects based on need for next year.

Whats Your Top Prospects For Next Years Draft Based on our teams needs.

i think its QB and NT but we could also looks at LB and CB

at QB i like Jevan Snead he looks pretty good could be there in the lower half of the 1st round.
I just dont see mcdaniels drafting a qb next year.

Terrance Cody looks like a straight up beast.
Hes one of the best nose tackles in next years draft
and better yet he plays in a 3-4 allignment at Bama hes big at 6'5 354 pounds i would really like that pick!
But Chris Baker looks promising also.

Joe Haden would be a good pick we could put him next to Alphonso Smith in a couple years. Champ probably wont be here after 2011 and well goodman hes just here for now.

Brandon Spikes is a straight up baller for the gators.
put him next to D.J and we will probably have one of the best linebaker groups in the nfl.

i think our best choice would be Terrance Cody.

    what do you guys think.

We need a dominant pass rushing OLB.

    Jerry Hughes.

My Projection of Needs, and their top prospect and projection:

      QB: Jevan Snead (Top Ten)
      WR: Arrelious Benn (Top Ten)
DE: Vince Ogohobaase (Late First -Early Second)
NT: Terrence Cody (Mid to Late-First)
Rush Linebacker: Jerry Hughes (Late First, Early Second)
      ILB: Brandon Spikes (Mid-Late First)

So looking at my predictions the safe pick I would say is Brandon Spikes or Jerry Hughes. But I biggest need is D-line. With Cody loosing weight I think our best pick is pick Terrence Cody.

Maybe if Cody got down to 340 or so.

And I don't think Spikes would make sense, he'd play SILB. The job of that position is to take on blockers so the WILB can make plays.
The SILB is not a 3 down backer. It wouldn't make sense to use a first rounder on a 2 down backer.

Who was the DT for Oklahoma the other night? McCoy or something wasn't it. He blew up BYU's line on several occasions, looked real good. Where is he expected to be taken.

Oklahoma two DT are Gerald McCoy and Demarcus Granger, both are good but you are probably talking about McCoy. But he's a better 4-3 DT, than 3-4DE.

                gerald mccoy hes a beast.

but we need a true nose tackle which would be Cody.

                but maybe Chris Baker develops.

Ths SILB is only a 2 down backer if he can't cover...like Davis. Right now WW comes in for the nickel but if we got a SILB that could cover he would be a 3 down backer and thus worth it. Spikes or Micah Johnson should be able to fill that spot well. My picks are listed below...if baker steps up and plays NT well, take BOO off of list.

Bryant would be my 1st choice. I would love for us to just deal Marshall and whatever else it takes to get the Jets 1st rounder next year, and then we could take Snead and Bryant!

RDE Carlos Dunlap or Arthur Jones
LDE Ndamukong Suh or Vince Oghobaase
NT Ekom Udofia (just a guy I like)
ILB Pat Angerer or Ryan D'Imperio
LOLB Rolando McClain (I Think he would be a natural playing outside in a 3-4) or Everson Griffen
                        ROLB plenty of good ones
WR Eric Decker or Naaman Roosevelt (Decker perfect for system)
CB Kyle Wilson or Alterraun Verner

My perfect draft (Marshall dealt for a 1st and 3rd)

                        1. RDE Arthur Jones: replaces Holliday
                        1. ILB/OLB Ronaldo McCain: Replaces Haggan
                        2. ROLB Jerry Hughes: replaces Moss
                        2. WR Eric Decker (move up 3rd and 2011 2nd): replaces BMarsh
                        3. CB Kyle Wilson: replaces Barrett or BDAWK
                        4. C John Estes: replaces Hamilton
                        5. (from Dallas) OT Ed Wang: replaces Gorin

What I would do looking at 53 man roster now. Of course guys like Moss, Barrett, and others could bust out or be retained for 2010.

                        R Ayers - B Cofield - A Haynesworth - CJ ohnson
                        J Anderson - J Beason - DJ Williams
                        R Bailey - P Amukamara - R Hill - A Goodman

                          ILB: Brandon Spikes
                          QB: Sam Bradford
                          WR: Dez Bryant
QB: If he declares Sam Bradford

I would be thrilled if Denver got any of these players!!!

i think sam bradford is a senior so im sure he declares.

but the chances of getting him are slim since we traded our first round pick.

Vince Oghabasse would be a great addition to our line at DE.

Him w/ Peterson and hopefully Baker would be a real nice front next year.
