not one bit at this time in point. To me it looks very intentional. How idiotic do you have to be to jeopordize your career and the career of another like that? I also cant believe he's only suspended a half a gameGlen Haven Fire -
I know right? Blatantly caught and hes getting half a game? I'm not sure how you can justify that...YoComment

He wants to win no matter what? I'm not sure but when he said he was being suspended i thought, good because that is about as classless as it gets, then i heard half a game and my jaw dropped. Being dealt with my @$$.YoComment

Doesn't really make a difference, he'll still be a Late 1st Rounder. It's also hard to tell exactly what he's doing, his head is well over the other guy, so he's doing whatever he's doing blind.
Regardless, we don't need a MLB, so it doesn't impact us.Comment

True, but Meyer pretty much admitted to it in suspending him...
Does this really happen a lot? I played high school ball and never heard about it happening, maybe the bigger stage does something to people?YoComment

QUOTE=ISUBroncosFan;3006392]Just saw this on ESPN as well...
I got this video using google.
Still want him on the team?[/QUOTE]
doing that no but if he can clean it up definitly. people say hes not a 3 down backer but i beg to differ he can cover and hes an all around backer imo but we'll seeComment

you cant really justify it any way you look at it from his/meyers stand point. What i saw was the hand going in the mask and jabbing. Theres no possible way you can sit there and say he was going for the ball. Not only that but spikes is the 3rd guy on him. May as well just told the two others to hold him while spikes punches him.
one half isnt justification no matter how its spun. Everyone makes mistakes but we'll see if he can clean up his act from now on.......i doubt it though especially when the punishment doesnt come close to fitting the crimeGlen Haven FireComment

ive def seen it happen with linemen/linebackers but ive never seen a lb do it to a rb and in most of the situations its accidental.Glen Haven FireComment

This is just as bad as when Marcus Vick stomped on Doom's leg a while ago. You just can't defend that...Comment

If I was making the call, I'd kick him off the team. Plain and simple. There is no excuse for such as that. But the cold hard truth is he'd be playing somewhere else on someone else's team in a few weeks, unless the NCAA stepped up to the plate, which is actually what should happen.
On the other hand, you want people with the "kill" mentality on your team and it's a very fine line that they have to walk to keep from stepping over that line. Look at Haynesworth. He got a $100 million deal in the off season. It wasn't that long ago when he cleated another players forehead on purpose. He should have been banned for that, as should Spikes, but winning supersedes all, no matter what it costs.Comment

Davis and Williams have played about as well as any pair of ILB's in the league thus far and I have no idea why we would want to fix something that's not broken.
IMO our greatest need is LG (now) and OC (next year).sigpic
