  • Jan 1st Allstate Sugar Bowl

I am new at this. I have never doen scouting reports so bare with me.

This game IMO has ALOT of kids we should look at.

    FLORIDA

1- Joe Haden CB-- The next coming of Champ Bailey. He is a solid CB and smart player.

2- Brandon Spikes ILB-- He is a natural born leader on the defensive side of the ball. He has had an incident of "eye gouging" in the Georgia game. He was suspended for 1 half, then he held himself out of the other half. That shows me he take responsibility for his actions and is a grown man. He has alot of talent and could be the vocal leader of whatever team he goes to.

3- Riley Cooper WR-- He is fairly tall and has good hands. He was over shadowed by the amazing talent he had around him last year in Percy Harvin and Louis Murphy. This year he has had an ok year with Tebow thowing a little more that normal.

4- Jermaine Cunningham DE-- Plays opposite of Carlos Dunlap. Dunlap gets alot of double teams so that might have helped Cunninghams production. He is a little small for the NFL. Might be more suited for a rush OLB.

5- Carlos Dunlap DE-- He has fallen off alot this year. He also lost composure and got a DUI the day before the Alabama game and was held out of that game. He has alot of talent, but he takes plays off and looks unmotivated at times. look for him to fall into the late first early second round.

6- Maurkice Pouncey OC-- He plays in the SEC and in the spread offense. He dominates all of his opponents. He will be the top OC in this years draft should he come out.

7- Mike Pouncey OG-- Brother of MA. Pouncey. Both players are dominate at their positions. Share the same traits.

    Cincy

1- Tony Pike QB-- IMO he is the best QB for this team. He is tall and is smart. Every game i watched of his he put the ball where it needed to be every time. He looked poised in the pocket kind of like a Tom Brady.

2-Mardy Giliard WR-- Very productive WR with great hands. He also runs pretty good routes from what i have seen. He is tall and speedy. I dont know where he would fall in the draft, but i would guess that he goes somewhere in the second-third round.

I know that this isnt all the names in this game so if there are more please let me know and tell us all the attributes they bring to the game. I havent watched much Cincy games so some insight on their players would be nice. I just wanted to post my ideas on the ones i know.

I think you're living in the past a little as a Florida fan. The Gators play Cincinatti and not Alabama. It's cool, though, nothing a quick edit won't fix. But, this game is LOADED with Broncos potential picks. Haden, Spikes, Dunlap, Cunningham, Pouncey (x2), Gilyard, Pike are all possibilities for us somewhere in the draft. Every draft fan should make it a point to watch this game. And you left Football Jesus out.

Man has Florida on the brain. Why not just slap a Broncos decal on Florida Helmets and get a Uhaul and bring em all to Denver to play. Winner Winner Chicken Dinner

No biggie. I wish the national championship was Florida and Bama. Much more appealing then the game it is now.

I dint say lets draft all of the players from Florida. I just started watching college ball this year and live in JACKSONVILLE (1 hour from Gator Country). I know more about them than any other school in the country.

I do like their players, but if you look at my sig you will see thagt in my mock i only have 2 players that i want to draft from Florida. So dont be an A**, and say just throw a bronco decal and move them here.

Why dont you lend some INTELLIGENT comments so we can see where you stand on this teams future instead of just spouting off out the mouth.

Oh yess but you have! Let's refresh that memory of yours.....

              Ring any bells?

You want intelligent comments let me direct you to this thread......

I have had plenty of commentary reagarding where I think the Denver Broncos should go in the future, with quite a bit of research to back it up. You just choose to ignore it. I am a diehard Colorado Buffaloes fan and Texas Longhorns fan, but I don't let Homerism cloud my judgment when discussing what players are best for my favorite NFL team.

Now you are living in the past. I have changed my mock as you see below. I changed it a LONG time ago and have had many people comment on how good my mock is. So again, please get your facts straight and just stop bashing people and give CONSTRUCTIVE critisism.

Quality first attempt. You nailed most of the main prospects. I'll add my notes to your thread:

As you and others have mentioned, Florida has a ton of prospects. Perhaps more early round prospects than any other team, though many are Juniors. This is one the teams that Denver will probably scout heavily because so many prospects could potentially be in a Denver uniform next season. CB Joe Haden is firmly a strong possibility with Denver's 1st Round selection to be the heir apparent to Champ Bailey, a player oddly enough, Haden is compared to as a prospect. The Pouncey twins are firmly options for a team wanting to upgrade it's interior line. Spikes and Dunlap are considerations as well. Tebow is a possibility, though an unpopular one with fans. Cunningham is a mid-round rush LB prospect. Brandon James is a late round scatback, return type guy that could interest Denver.

Cincinnati only has a handful of prospects of note. Gilyard is one of the better deep threat/return guys in the draft despite not having blazing speed. Pike is an underrated QB with ideal size and a decent arm. He could be someone Denver looks at in Round 2. Webster is a quality hybrid secondary player best for zone schemes.

Definitely will watch Pike and Gilyard again closely. Would not be disappointed with either of them.

We already seen Florida and Bama. SEC Championship game.

I think Texas vs Bama is gonna be a good game. Although i think Bama is gonna win.

Pike's not looking so good (although he really doesn't get much time to throw). His arm is better than I thought it would be after all the negative reports I have read.

Wouldn't be upset if we picked him, but at this point I still want Colt McCoy in the 2nd or 3rd.

Tebow is looking really good...as a QB. I've been impressed so far with several nice touch passes and his accuracy overall.

Delivery is still pretty funky, although it clearly works for him. Still you don't see too many (successful) NFL QB's with a wind up that long.

Too me Byron Leftwich had the worst wind up, but he threw some dart!
