Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.
Thank you for understanding.

Not Ashley.
He couldn't ever get open.
He was decent on long plays, but this team doesn't have a clue what those are.
To be sucessful with our dink and dunk, we need another beast that can get YAC. I don't think anyone out there fits the bill.
Perhaps Hillis should be put out there? At least he can get YAC...

While they are at it, brink Jake the Snake Plummer to run this offense!
Ya i know what you guys mean ashley more of a big play guy n we dont even know what a big play is. But i think we need depth were down to lloyd, gaffney, stockley, and graham its not bad but i think we should call somebody for some depth or hell put champ in haha he did it his first year here why not now? lol :salute!:

He said the they would activate Matthew Willis off of the practice squad!

I hate to quote myself, but I realised something after rereading this post.
I've got a feeling this is the game that Josh plays Hillis. Quite a bit actually. He will be wanting to increase his trade value, while at the same time minimizing the injury exposure to "His" key players.
That and the fact that half the regular players won't be out there.
I love the idea of bringing in Vicent and Avant and have Royal play the welker type role like we all hoped he would. But i really doubt that san diego lets Vicent walk i live in greeley were vicent played college ball and he is a colorado native so why wouldnt he want to come back home and play for us.
I think it would be also much cheeper to bring both of them in then siging marshall.
With Marshall playing his new game and Scheffler, who has been invisible lately for whatever reasons, I think it's another year with some mighty changes coming.
I wonder, and it is something I have been seeing for awhile (since the Steelers game). It seems as if some of the players, most notably Shanahan leftovers, have given up. Scheffler has a big game, then as I watch the games over I notice he is not getting open and on some plays not really trying after the initial move. Marshall has began having the dropsies again, and the two in the breadbasket he dropped last week had me jumping off the couch screaming "catch the damned thing".
Hamilton has been the biggest disappointment to me. I know he may still be having problems with his post concussion stuff, but good Lord, block somebody. At least give it a try, please.
These guys are making a LOT of money and I hear people saying we need to "feel their pain". Bullhockey. When I was in my 20's I would have done everything but sell my soul for a chance at the NFL. I even played semi-pro for a few years to try to get a chance. So I know what real players give up to have that chance. I also know that a lot are like that Adam James creep kid who have had everything given to them and the moment they feel "unaccepted" have to cause a problem. They feel like if they make the coach look like a "slavedriver" and "hardass" or, God forbid, a "racist" they will get their way and the new guy won't dare cross them for fear of the same thing happening.
I say more power to McD to get rid of these creeps, quitters and troublemakers. Give me a team of guys like the 1977 team, not the most talented, but God help you when you have to play them. This team had it in the first 6 weeks, but after a few hard times, some seem to have just given up. I hate that.
