Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.
Thank you for understanding.

Kyle I think should and will be retained. So if were looking to add a QB, it will be in a backup type role. David Carr might be the best option for a veteran, and we will possibly add another through the draft.
Since the essence of the question is whether or not the Broncos should look for a better quarterback than what they already have on the team, I will say that they should do that.
Orton is not a championship level quarterback and if the Broncos can find one they should get him.
That being said, they can still be better than what they are if they make some improvements to the defense and the running game. Those improvements will need to come through adding better talent to the team, primarily on both lines.
You're Wrong! Recognize That You're Wrong!
Move On
No, their not. Just because vick threw it 20 yards to a wide open receiver he's better than kyle? And Brady quinn? really? He's had opportunity's for 3 years and all he can do is come up short.
I do agree that we should look for other QB's, but definitely not those.
But here's the other thing. I don't think we should get rid of Orton.
Why get rid of a good Back up QB when your still in need of one? We don't have a good Back up QB, and Orton seems like a pretty damn good one to put in over simms if our future franchise player goes down. I still can't judge too far yet though, because I haven't seen him actually be designated as a starter, and he's only played for 1 year with a team learning the playbook for the 1st year.
We still haven't seen Brandstater play, so we don't know if we even have to look for a starter or not. Either way, we still need a 3rd QB to fill the 3rd spot. so might as well keep looking.
Look, I like Orton. I don't think he's Amazing. But to say he sucks and should get off the team is odd to hear for me. we went 8-8 with Cutler, and we went 8-8 without Cutler.
Sounds like something else is up to me other than just the QB if you ask me. How about the O-line's ability to start the run and the D-line's ability to stop it?
Oh, there were other throws for 20 yards. I am just not going to go out of my way for someone as biased as you.
<----- Does that make me cool?
Are you familiar with the concept of sarcasm? I don't mean that he literally can't throw over 20 yards, just that he sucks at it.
Actually, KO completed only 37 passes longer than 20 yards (a pathetic 11% of his completed passes and 6.8% of his attempts). In fact, he completed almost as many passes for negative yards as he did for yards over 30 (14 vs 15).
at least he wasn't throwing 20+ of his throws to the other team. But anyway, Lets not bash the guy. He was just doing some grocery shopping when he found out he had been traded to Denver after all. It's not like he had a choice this year.
-Do not argue with an idiot. They will bring you down to their level and beat you with experience-
