Anyway, if it happens, the GM best buy a lottery ticket that day.
Boldin is a very good to elite receiver, to get him for so little would be astonishing but it obviously won't happen.sigpic

I would love to get Boldin but it was rumored that last year Arizona turned down 2nd round pick for Boldin and we couldnt trade scheff last year when he had good stats, hillis' value has gone down a ton since he had only a few good games last year and being in McDs dog house this year, and a 6th we would have to throw in at least a 2nd with it. Yes Boldin has had his injury concerns but when healthy he is stil a top notch number 1 WR, and he is 29 which as a WR he probably has or 4 good years left. I would be estatic to get him for that price but its highly doubtful. Maybe we will get lucky though.

ok... let the flaming begin...
hillis is a throw away player... we will never get anything for him in trade value. He will be cut or resign. A couple of decent games rushing followed by an injury then blatant missed assignments and a fumble this year. are not great trade bait IMO. 6th - 7th rounder tops maybe a 5th if we are really lucky.
Sheff has proven to be a head case. Not sparking a McD love/hate reaction but he still called out his coaches publically and was benched for poor conduct and attitude problems. Not exactly what a coach looks for in a player. Washington and Shanny are our best trade options there, but they have cooley. So won't get much for him.
I like both players but just because i like them does not give them great trade value. Neither one has proven much to warrant any decent trade value. He's still Tim Tebow... and you're NOT!
But Peyton Manning will win a Super Bowl.

About time someone understands this correctly, no otherteam wants our trash look at how many of our starters got cut last year, then look at how many of them got picked up by an nfl team. The answer is very few most ended up in the UFL or unemployed lol.
Scheffler's trade value is around a 4th at the most, but most likely a 5th rounder and I think we send him down the round for that.
Hillis is worth maybe a 7th and that is a big maybe, if Shanny calls and really wants him that is our only option to get a pick for him and I don't see him with any value.
With both of that being said I think we should keep them both because we wont get much if anything for either of them, and I think the little that they add to the team is worth more then the little compensation we woud get.

But how does Boldin have injury PROBLEMS.
As physical as his game is, it doesnt surprise me when he gets nicked.
Also he turns 30 ic October. That is no where near old esp for a wideoutI need more Oline, please and thank you

What about playing without injuries, Boldin has and will have injury problems sometimes he plays with them sometimes he has to sit em out. It is just apart of his game that you need to deal with the guy has and will get hurt dureing your season there is no covering that up.
Now I think he is a very talented wr and would love him in denver, just don't try to say he doesn't have injury problems lol.

He has started all 16 twice in his career. 15 this year and 14 in '05
Yes he has had injuries. But non of them have kept him out for a majority of the season.
I would take his 13 games started ave for the past seven years.I need more Oline, please and thank you

Both showed what they could do when they got the playing time: Malcom Floyd in week 17 as the go-to WR - 9 Catches, 140 yards and Steve Breaston in their game yesterday against the Packers with Boldin out - 7 catches, 125 yards, 1 TD). With Floyd it would mean trading a pick to the Chargers, so that seems to be the only obstacle with him, but with Breaston it could make sense, especially if they would rather keep Boldin. That being said, I think we will get our future #1 WR in this year's draft as there are a lot of players who could fill that role.I need more Oline, please and thank you

He is a great #2 and a decent #1a. Even if we were to get him I would still want a true deep threat playmaker ala Bryant or Thomas (just saw he declared)sigpic
