Most ILB fall - look at James Laurinitis and many more. Rolando McClain is the only sure fire ILB taken in the 1st Round.


I again would much rather Maurkice Pouncey in the 1st and Micah Johnson in 3rd or 4th.

Johnson will be gone by the 4th...

If you want your Ray Lewis/Al Wilson...You draft him at 10-11..(Ro.McClain)

If you wanta prospect...That may turn into something...draft Johnson...

Point is at 10-11, you better get the best player st his position period...

He did that with DEZ...He took the best player at his position...Not right or wrong, or Dan Williams(if I had a Buck every time you said his name)...

I like your draft.


1.- Lendale White- we will not need to trade for him. Tenn will release him outright this offseason. So we can look at him as a FA. Of course, if we trade we dont have to bid for his services, but seriously only the houston texans and browns will really be interested in him anyway. I like the idea of adding him, but we can obtain him via FA me thinks.

2.-It is extremely unlikely that we draft a P. Now that we signed colquitt, have shankberger and signed that other guy a few weeks ago. I like the pick and would not complain at all. But I dont think we go after him. Also i think he will go in the 7th.

I know a lot of ILB's tend to fall but I really don't see only ONE ILB/MLB going in the first round.

Micah Johnson would be interesting, but he reminds me too much of Curtis Lofton. Good ILB, nothing special, and was a 2nd round pick by Atlanta. He's their starter now, and he's decent, but he's nothing fancy, and ends up missing a tackle and giving up a big play for every few good plays he makes. The problem with players like that is that you like their production and hard work, yet you know you need to replace them, yet you put it off year after year because you know there are bigger needs elsewhere.

I think Shanny had a big problem with that where he had decent players at certain positions and he just kept trying to change the system a bit or do whatever he could to keep them there while he addressed other issues on the team, and I feel like if we draft and eventually start Micah Johnson a similar thing will happen.

Brandon Spikes is still a very good LB and definitely the 2nd best ILB in the draft, and I don't see him slipping all the way out of the first.

Honestly the ideal situation for me is to trade Marshall to Miami and then we'll have two very high picks and hopefully we'll be able to land both Dez Bryant and Rolando McClain
