I like it......I love the FA pick-ups for the most part. Pennington was a head scratcher, but as far as a back up role, I think that he would be a great option. Solid vet that is very similar to our starter.
Thanx Blondie79 for the sweet Sig....Love it and I will rock it with pridesigpic

Chad Pennington would be the starter in Denver if signed , not Orton.

haha yeah not, pennington has a worse deep throw then orton. hes less mobile, orton has been in the system a year and he has a better connection with the WR.
A healthy Kenneth Dixon is a top 5 NFL RB.

Pennington would come in for the back up position but if he can win the starting job in OTA then so be it. Im all for the BEST man out there.

If we get one of the free agents you posted I would be surprised.

contray to alot of "FANS" on this site McD is a smart man. He does realise that he cant fill all our holes with 6 draft picks. Not to mention 3 of the 6 wont start or get significant playing time. FA is a must if he still has a win now attitude. The only question mark is the CBA effect.

                  Cleveland = not in playoffs
So, same exact situation. Outside looking in.

Next time they hand the trophy to a team that "almost" made it then you have an argument.

I'm gonna agree with Brown on this one... I've always told my sons...One is a Colt fan the other a Bronco fan...The only win that matters is the Superbowl...
Only one team can say we are World Champs...The rest of the 31 teams can say "We were close" the Colts can say we were the "Closest"...Noone really cares about second...No one will even remember the Colt had a chance to go 16-0...What we will remember is the Saints won the bowl...And the Brownies and the Broncos were at home...

The only difference is that they have a higher draft pick...Did we beat them...Sure.
Did they beat teams we didn't...Yes

Who's better...Who cares neither one of us won a DANG thing, so we both suck...For this season...

I know we should target some of these players, but there are other teams in NFL that will be targeting them also. To be honest, with the amount of RFA and lack of unrestricted, I would be happy if we signed Kevin Mawae. Amano will only play guard. No one is going to sign him to play center after playing guard his whole NFL career...and being successful at it. Plus I still don't see the Titans letting him go, especially since he was the offensive line that produced a 2000+ yard back. With them losing Mawae, they wont risk losing two. I think signing Amano would be a pipedream.

"IF" the price is right and he dosent get FRANCHISED we could easily see him. McD is smart and understands the importance of a dominate line, more so with the change in style, ZBS to a PBS. Both his line coaches and he understand what they need and will move forward. My only question is how do they feel about Fry and McChesney. If they fell they are viable optiions with kuper playing the other Guard position we may be set and looking for just depth again we dont know. AT 326lbs and 330 respectivly they are big enough for a PBS but they are bigger than NE norm size lineman add in that tackle Batiste at 316lbs and we see he is already active in FA.

I just wouldn't get to attached to the idea he will be wearing a Broncos jersey next year. I mean he has played for Tennessee his whole NFL career and was apart of a offensive line that produced a 2000 yard RB. How is it that we could "easily" see him here. I'm sure we won't be the only team chasing him. I would rather have Kevin Mawae for a year to rub off on our interior line and build the majority through the draft. I mean Amano was a 7th round pick.

And Brian Dawkins was the heart and soul of Philly yet they let him walk and guess what he just had another Probowl year. What can or would happen none of us know. So this is me having fun saying who I like. I was thaught a saying when I was younger. "Money talks BS runs a marathon, so lets talk cause im tired of running."

Also I want Amano as a Guard not Center, Casey Rabach is my center with Hadnot at RG. Just Sayin FYI
