We Will Be Picking Bradford/Clausen with our first pick. Orton is not a QB that will take us to the big game. Bowlen, MCD, And the entire Broncos Organization all know that. Bowlen is already showing hints in his interview and on the denver post it says most likely the broncos will not wait til the later rounds to select a QB. I already know everybodys going to be like They already said ortons the man and this and that. But honestly what do you expect them to say right now? They cant just say ortons done. I already know im going to get bashed for this but this is going to happen. Honestly thats just what this team needs. we wont get anywhere with out a QB that isnt a threat. Im calling it now. We would have to move up for either of these guys and I just dont see us dealing our picks around when QB isnt even our most needed position.

If the Broncos draft a QB, I hope it's Pike or LeFevour.

Too many more pressing needs with the #11 pick than a big question mark like Clausen or Bradford.

Thats why i said, "as early as the 4th, DEPENDING on his Combine." We don't have a 5th as of right now, so if Josh really likes him, he may reach a bit to get him. This guy is Ben Rothlisberger size, with a stronger arm.

im all for bradford or clausen. I think Bradford would be the guy McD would look at.

However if not a fan of taking a qb high in the first, we could very well trade up in the 2nd, or sit and hope he falls and draft Colt McCoy.

Although lack of height is a problem, and he often needs to roll out to buy time, I think he can be groomed into a good quarterback. The guy is a winner with a great attitude, accurate and can throw a good enough deep ball. Not to mention he is a lethal dual threat with his legs.

It makes sense if they can get the guy they want. I don't think this is a system in which a rookie can step in and play right away so having an understudy while Orton plays the next season or 2 allows them to see whether Kyle can be a championship caliber QB and have a replacement ready if not.

... It may be that Chris Simms hasn't worked out and will be released.

Still need 3 QBs on the roster.

Broncos will either draft one or sign a FA.

It should be be another player, but McD will want to improve his offense.


Who ever it is I hope he takes over for Orton sooner than later.

If Bradford is there at 10/11 I would love to draft him. If we dont take a QB in the 1st then I hope we get Tony Pike, Colt McCoy, or Jarrett Brown in the 3rd round.

First of all, Bowlen does not decide the draft. Remember how surprised he was with McDaniels' picks after the 2009 draft. Then, consider how many smoke screens are thrown as the draft apporaches. Also, "opportunity to get a young QB" does not mean "urgency to get a young QB". So, all we can do is speculate and what Bowlen said did not write anything in stone.
