    1. St. Louis (1-15) Marc buger needs a qb
    2. Detroit (2-14) Stanford ok
    3. Tampa Bay (3-13) freeman/leftwhich maybe
    4. Washington (4-12) cambell/ brennan/collins needs a QB
    5. Kansas City (4-12) Matt Cassell $60 mil aint going no where
    6. Seattle (5-11) hasselbeck needs replacement
    7. Cleveland (5-11) Quinn/Anderson who knows
    8. Oakland (5-11) Russell/Grakowski Needs upgrade but who knows with AL
    9. Buffalo (6-10) fitzpatrick/edward/brohm 50-50
    10.(T) Jacksonville (7-9) Needs a new QB

Did i ever say we were going to pick him at 11? no. So that leaves us to trade up. McD is not stupid and he knows orton is garbage. If MCNABB isnt our QB next year then one of those young studs will be.

But isnt the quarterback position the most important???

Honestly, I agree 100% with the OP.

Either Bradford or Clausen will fall to us, I will bet it. My guess would be Bradford due to his question marks, lack of arm strength, gimmick offense at Oklahoma. Plus, he will not even be able to work out for scouts until his pro day, and even that may be limited.

People say we NEED defense or O-Line at pick 10, well, if McClain is gone there is not another defensive player worth taking that high, I doubt we draft McClain even if he is there, if Marshall stays we won't be taking Bryant, no way is McDaniels drafting a Guard that high, and if in fact McDaniels is sold on Chris Baker, Williams is not an option there either.

Bradford or Clausen will be the only option other than trading down, and you can never just say heading into the draft "well, we are going to trade down in the 1st" you just don't know if any teams will bite, draft day trades are hard to project because you never really know how the flow of the draft is going to go.

I say McDaniels looks to fill his holeson the lines via Free Agency, then takes the BPA at 10 or 11, which will be Bradford or Clausen!

I can't see Clausen or Bradford falling to us. We will have to trade up. I look at how much buzz Sanchez created, he became a top 5 pick after only 1 season as a starting quarterback. I believe Clausen and Bradford have even better value than him.

Clausen should be the 1st QB taken, If Washington passes on Bradford red flags should pop up. There doctor did the surgery on Bradford and if they pass they may not think the surgurey went well or he may never be the same. Or it could mean, while highly doubtful, that they are happt at QB. So this IMHO lowers his grade if he makes it pass Washington.

Washington will likely take Clausen if he's available (even with Bradford still on the board). It looks as though the Rams will try to land Michael Vick in the offseason so I think they take Suh @ #1. So the first QB wont go until 4 at the highest.

I think Bradford could slip to 10, but its not likely with Seattle and Buffalo picking before us.
