Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.

Wow this sucks. Guess this means no partying for me unless somehow I can pull off getting friday off. I have no clue the benefit of doing this. I would be happy if I could just see the 1st round on Saturday and if they didn't televise the rest of the rounds it wouldn't even bother me.
I think it's going to generate more trades throughout the first 3 rounds. Teams will have time to go through round 1, and re-assess thier needs and assets. Same goes for the 2nd round. I like it. I don't neccassarily like waiting 3 days for the draft to be completed, but I do like the compounded strategy and projected trade increases. I think it might also generate more trades with veteran players.
Its alright to me the move was made because Goddell wanted the draft to go primetime, which in by doing this it did. I agree, but what makes me really hate it is the fact that i will be at work on thurs/fri, and i may be one of the few that actually pay attention to other teams draft. I paid attention to NE draft last year, and i can see why they are always in the conversation of playoffs/superbowl. They don't take a player just because its their pick, if they don't see a player of value at that pick, then they will trade out of it and accumulate more picks. Atleast i will get the text when we pick, but its nothing like hearing "THE DENVER BRONCOS ARE ON THE CLOCK"..."WITH THE 10/11 PICK OF THE 2010 NFL DRAFT, THE DENVER BRONCOS SELECT_________!!!

It is definately a smart move. Yeah we will have something to talk about, whether we pick at 10/11, trade back, or trade out of the 1st rd. But boy if we was to trade out of the 1st, it would make for a long Friday.

That's true. I think Free Agency is going to suck. There maybe a chance that all the DT's worth getting will be back with their teams, and arguable the best FA Center and Guard Mawae/Amano, looks to be the Titans priority. I hope we do re-sign B. Marsh. It looks like we may be building through the draft this year, which is fine with me. Thanks for the Sig comment!

I think FA will suck too. GB wants to bring Pickett back, they will use Raji like Baltimore uses Ngata. Franklin for SF will probably be back. Wilfork wont touch th FA market. Hampton will get tagged or signed by Pitt, they have no depth at NT other then him. I just read Tenn wants to keep Mawae/Amano on NFL.com as well. There wont be much for FA. I wouldn't mind signing Green, we need another Vet along with LeKevin just in case we don't re-sign Holiday. If we don't hit Free Agency hard, i won't be mad because we have alot of young guys who i'm interested in seeing. I would hate to pay a boat load of money for somebody when we could've got the same production or close to it with one of our guys.

I like Green, he comes from NE, he's good, and he's better then what we got. The other UFA DE's are Dwan Edwards, Marques Douglas. I think we'll sign Holliday, he did well playing limited and seemed to like it here. I like our young guys too. The FA market is slim, McDaniels has his work cut out for him.

Since we have so many young guys, i can see us signing Green only, because i'm pretty sure we will address the DE position in the draft, and Holiday was our best DE, so i believe we will re-sign him, anyway we need his leadership.

I pretty much agree. We'll sign one FA DE, and re-sign Holliday. McD has his work cut out for him. Should be interesting to see what happens.
