I would be SOOOOOOOOO happy if this happened, honestly I would probably die
in shock of KC actually making a big offseason/draft move that was GOOD.

haha i was about to post this too. Just saw it.

Would be interesting, but I'm still not convinced that Cassel is a franchise QB. I'm still sayin he was a 1-year wonder in 08

Now i go to ESPN website and go to the AFC West, just to find out that Bill Williamson mentioned it. It probably won't happen, but i wouldn't be suprised.

Kiper also wondered if Kansas City would trade Matt Cassel to Denver -- Broncos coach Josh McDaniels loves Cassel.

This scenario is obviously juicy and fun, although also unlikely. But we’ve seen wild scenarios involving quarterbacks in the AFC West before, haven’t we?

I understand where you're coming from, but he was in that offense for 4yrs so that did wonders for his confidents. He was surrounded by good talent, Moss, Gaffney, and Welker, along with a good O-Line and a productive running game, all he really had to do was get use to the speed of the game. It's hard to judge him right now because K.C. has so many problems, which is why I wouldn't be surprised if they drafted Dez Bryant. I would be fine with that trade, knowing that Cassel knows the offense, had a good arm, good chemistry with McD, that would solve about 50% of our problems.

That sounds like a plan, send Miami a 7th round pick. I think they're crazy for not playing him more and making him the third QB, IMO he is the best QB on their roster. He had starter experience that Henne didn't have and anybody is better than Pat White.

In what sense? They're very different styles of QBs, so I'm curious what you meant by the comparison.

Sounds like something that might interest McDaniels, but I hope it doesn't go down. Personally, I'd rather have Orton than Cassel, but that's just me. With both of them, at least we'd have a decent backup if the starter went down. I can't see paying Cassel the kind of money KC gave him though and I think that will keep this deal from happening.
