meh who knows lol. Hate all that lawyer lingo.

Final Eight rules. In general, they would limit all eight teams to signing one unrestricted free agent (a player with six or more years of NFL service) for each one of their own lost, and can only sign a new UFA to a salary similar to what the departing player gets, with limits on annual increases.

we wouldnt have released wiegman if we didnt have a plan i have heard S.Olsen may play center and that could be some of the problem with hadnot signing with us that he may have to compete for it.....

Seth Olsen is very high on McD's list right now. They are considering what spot they will put him in. It is probably most likely he will get a shot at the LG position, but if no suitable solution is available to C, McD has said they may put him there.

They like his size and he is supposedly versatile....who knows?

I haven't heard a peep about anything going on with Dwan Edwards. Not just Bronco related, but in relation to any team. Does this mean that he can't pass a physical due to his back? Just curious if anyone has heard.

                Dwan Edwards Visiting Buffalo Bills

Football betting news and picks with focus on NFL, college football and sports betting legalization updates across the United States.

OWINGS MILLS, Md. -- Baltimore Ravens veteran free agent defensive end Dwan Edwards is taking his third free agent visit today.

He's meeting with Buffalo Bills team officials.

Edwards has previously visited the Seattle Seahawks and the Denver Broncos, but didn't receive an offer.

Edwards beat out former Pro Bowl defensive end Trevor Pryce for a starting job last season in Baltimore.

However, concerns about a spinal fusion surgery from two years ago have hurt his prospects as an unrestricted free agent.

Edwards is a former second-round draft pick from Oregon State who plays with sound leverage and technique.

In nine starts last season, the 6-foot-3, 290-pounder has recorded 47 tackles and one sack.

For his career, Edwards, 28, has registered 119 tackles and two sacks.

I think its interesting that he hasnt signed with anyone yet and now he is visiting the Bills?! Maybe the market wasnt as hot for him as he thought it would be. . . I wonder if we made him an offer or if we chose not to.

I understand and I read that. . . I know we didnt officially make him an offer, but was wondering if they discussed numbers at all. . . I thought it would be unusual to have someone come out without at least a discussion around "ballpark" salary expectations. Its a waste of time otherwise.

That said, if they had any idea of what he was looking for, salary wise, they may not have liked what they saw (same thing at the Seahawks). Just pure speculation on my part.

he is probably looking for starter money and teams don't see him other than rotational backup at best, due to the spine injury
