Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.
Thank you for understanding.

I would rather have dan williams. We lack a young NT who can learn behind the vets we picked up (unless baker is that man). I also dont think it would be wise giving that much money to our lbs. You would have ayers (1st rounder) dumervil (sack leader last year) Williams (one of our highest paid players I think) and McClain who will also demand a ton of money.
I'd rather have McClain. Williams looks like a great prospect, but McClain & DJ in the middle would be a great combination and 2 great MLBs in a 3-4 defense has worked great for Baltimore over the years. I think we could get Cody or Thomas in the 2nd round to fill the hole we have at NT. All you really need there is a 320+ lb disrupter and a handful of guys can fill that role in this draft.

Yes Lewis and Scott were a good combo in Baltimore. But did you know Scott was a UDFA who waited 5 years to become a starter? The Ravens didn't break the payroll for their second ILB starter.
Dan Williams, a nose tackle is far more valuable than an inside linebacker. Moreover, McClain had Cody in front of him eating up blockers. I'm never entirely sold on ILBs that have shined playing behind elite DLs.
Hoping for a defensive-minded head coach and a return to the ZBS on offense. At the very least, no more cheaters for head coach.
Yeah, but I don't think you guys would actually Jared Odrick over your beloved Dan Williams
I probably would... Jarvis Green does not do well as a full time starter, and Odrick would be the perfect player to rotate with him. I would definitely do it if we could get a guy like Cam Thomas in the 2nd/3rd.
McClain's talent fits this high of a pick better, but how about picking up the guy who erased him in the sugar bowl? Zane Beadles in the 3rd or 4th round and kick him inside to G?
I wonder how much Crohn's disease will affect McClain in the NFL. It might be manageable and he will have good doctors taking care of him to prevent anything more serious. But even so he might still feel weakness in his body during a hard fought game. The disease might explain why he looks sloppy on the field sometimes, jogging instead of going 100%. Remember he had to stop his Pro Day workout because he was not feeling well. What if something like this happen during a game, a playoff game?
