Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.
Thank you for understanding.

Pretty decent draft so far. I still really don't like McClain in the 1st but Jones in the 4th would be a steal. I'm definitely warming up to the idea of a RB in the 3rd to replace Buckhalter.
Giants are looking to trade up (perhaps). Denver could move if they want, right
If DENVER is looking to trade down.... Things might work out well for us!
We pick at 11, and after us goes MIA-SF-SEA-NYG!
All four of those teams MIGHT be looking at Spiller. I'm sure Spiller slips out of the top-10, and if JAX starts to dangle the picks.... Well, we might do the same. Price would be cheaper, right?
If NYG wants to get CJ, wouldn't they deal with us? Send us a 3rd round pick?
We still draft Odrick.
Just a thought.

Beat writer Mike Garafolo confirms reports that the Giants are high on Clemson RB C.J. Spiller.
The Giants were listed as one of the teams rumored to be considering a trade into the top ten for a shot at Spiller. According to Garafolo, "It might be a bit early for that kind of talk, but I can tell you the team likes Spiller." The Giants are also believed to be high on Alabama LB Rolando McClain, who will visit on April 12.

C.J. Spiller could be climbing the ladder

There's a sense in some league circles that only a truly special running back is worthy of a top-ten draft pick.
If so, it means that some regard Clemson's C.J. Spiller as a truly special running back.
We're hearing talk of teams possibly trying to invade the lower reaches of the top 10 in order to get a crack at Spiller, with rumors currently focusing on the Dolphins and the Giants.
The Dolphins currently hold the No. 12 pick; the Giants are at 15.
Since 2006, only three running backs have been chosen among the first 10 selections: Darren McFadden, No. 4 in 2008, Adrian Peterson, No. 7 in 2007, and Reggie Bush, No. 2 in 2006. In 2005, three running back were taken in the top five.
That year, the Dolphins drafted Ronnie Brown with the second overall pick. If the rumors are true, they could be looking to supplant Brown with Spiller.

The Giants spent a lot of time with McClain at his pro day and coach Tom Coughlin said during the owners' meetings last week he's impressed with what he's seen from McClain on film. Coughlin also said he spoke to Alabama coach Nick Saban about McClain.
So what more info could the Giants need? Well, perhaps they want to put McClain on a white board to see how well he can run through a 4-3 defense after playing in a 3-4 in college. Or maybe they want their doctors to ask a few questions about his issues with Crohn's Disease.
Or maybe, based on the Giants' recent history of not bringing in their first-round picks for visits, they're not interested in him and this is merely a smoke screen.
Nahhhhhhhh.
Trust me, he's on their radar, as is Clemson running back C.J. Spiller. ProFootballTalk.com reported Monday they're hearing teams, including the Giants, are clamoring to move up for Spiller. It might be a bit early for that kind of talk, but I can tell you the team likes Spiller.
Of course, having said that, I just got word from his agent he's not scheduled to visit the Giants. You know what that means.............
I would glady trade back with the Giants, we could use some extra picks. They would probably want McClain given thats there biggest need, RB isnt a big need, already got Bradshaw, Jacobs, Ware and Gatrell Johnson. Not sure who i would want at 15 though, maybe Pouncey.
Pretty decent draft so far. I still really don't like McClain in the 1st but Jones in the 4th would be a steal. I'm definitely warming up to the idea of a RB in the 3rd to replace Westbrook.
If the Giants want to trade up I think it would be to get McClain.
It could also be to get Derrick Morgan, Dan Williams, or even Joe Haden. All 3 of these are players that SF, Miami, and Seattle might take. SF probably wouldn't take Williams though.
