This same guy predicted that we would draft Bey & Mitchell before it happened. Also predicted that Garcia would be a Raider and that we'd trade for center Samson Satele all before it was made public. So technically, he's 4 for 4.

With that said, I hope Al doesn't pull the trigger on Spiller.

Al figures if you cant block the defenders, you could always run around them with speed. Murphy, McFadden, Bey and draft Spiller. He's starting a new concept in the NFL, Speed kills.

I would rather have Mathews. In the first 10 yards of the 40 he is only .01 seconds slower than CJ. Its the initial burst that is important and Mathews is just as fast as CJ. Mathews is bigger and a better blocker in the back field and has an exceptional Straight arm.

I think in reality both of these guys are very close. They each excell in different aspects of the game.

I want the opposite. Without filling our needs, we won't be a winning team.

I'd much rather have Jahvid Best or Dexter McCluster taking into account the value of a backup/3rd down/Screen Pass RB. Makes much more logical sense considering we have much bigger needs. Best had injury concerns, I'm well aware, but he is an electric player who very well could be a game-changer even if he only touches the ball 8-10 times a game. Best and Moreno would be a very nice duo that have playing styles that would compliment each other greatly.

Last year was surprising because we drafted Moreno with our first 1st after signing 3 RB's in free agency (Buck, Arrignton and Jordan).

Taking Spiller with our 2010 1st rounder would be a similar surprise, as good as he is - and also faster than KM.

But McD repeatedly stated during the season that our trouble running the ball was not the fault of the RB's. It was "blocking."

If McD follows through with this thought, he should be drafting O-Line. If not with our 1st, then for sure most of the rest of the way.

I totally agree that we need another rb to complement moreno, I love Buck but the guy is gettin' up there in age and seems to always be nicked up. Having said that I was shocked when the panthers pulled the trigger on Jonathan Stewart after taking Williams two years prior (even though it totally worked out for them), but I don't think i've ever seen a team take a player of the same position in the first in consecutive years unless, well, you're the lions (wr anybody?). Like i said we need another rb, just not in the first, or second.......or third really.

i highly doubt we draft a first round RB this years draft if we do draft a RB its going to be late in the draft

Mcdaniels got ripped for drafting a RB last year, there's no way he'll pick two in a row. Moreno is Mcdaniels guy and he will stick by him. I'll give it about a 0.0000001% chance that we take spiller.

I wouldnt mind having him if we didnt have moreno, but mcdaniels wont draft another running back in the 1st round besides we have 2 holes that need to be filled on the o-line before any RB runs good for us. I wouldnt mind seeing his teammate jacoby ford playing for us though
