Im totally on the D.Thomas bandwagon with or without Marshall. at 6'3 230 him and marshall will tear things up. Plus I think hell end up being the better wide receiver to come out of this draft

I would like this draft but people have talked about Dez Bryant maybe falling to to the early 20's. if he is there at 22 do you take him and hope pouncey falls to 33. Also, do you like Pouncey more than iupati and if he is there at 22 would you take him and put olsen at center? Anyways i do like your draft and was wondering what you thought of players who could fall.

I would definitely take Pouncey at 22. I think you almost have to considering the value of adding a Center who very easily could start from Week 1 and at a high level. There's no bigger need on this team than Center in my eyes (sorry, I don't believe Fry is the answer, but maybe Olsen could step in as he is a versatile lineman). I do love Dez Bryant, but if he were to fall to the mid 20's, and he's the first WR taken in the draft, then it could mean that Demaryius Thomas lasts until the 2nd round. We saw the same thing happen in 2008 with that WR draft class, most had them pegged as mid-late 1st guys and they all experienced a slip with a logjam of talent at the top bidding to be the first WR taken.

Like I said, I like the mock posted, BUT, I would take Tyson Alulu (spelling)instead of Best with the second rd pick.

This kid is gonna be good.

I'm simply loving the pick of Akwasi Owusu-Ansah. That kid could be a very good player.

Overall, a great mock, although I hope we keep Marshall.

I love the mock draft, but will we really pass up Rolando McClain? I agree with trading down but its gona be hard as hell to pass up a players like that.

This has been hashed out a number of times. Yes, we could pass on him for a couple of major reasons:
                    - Positional value: 3-4 ILB just doesn't have enough value to be the #11 pick.
                    - Crohn's disease: Depending on how the doctors evaluate the risk, we might pass because he is in danger of being unable to play out his first contract. You don't want too much money tied up in a player who might not play till his contract is up.

That's not to say we won't take him, but those are two very good reasons to pass.

                      I beg to differ.

I didn't necessarily agree with the value assessment. Before the Crohn's revelation, I was all over the McClain train. I was just trying to front the two biggest reasons that are argued in favor of skipping him. In fact, it seems to me that the value one is used more often than the (to me) more valid health concern. I'm off that wagon just because of his Crohn's and nothing else, personally.

I love it. Covers everything. Might have to pick Best at #33, and get Benn at #44, but the position needed and covered are ideal.

Keep a port-o-potty on the low, on the sideline, problem solved!

Like the picks, except for a lack of value in adding to the Dline. My big issue is with the trades. Why would the Patriots trade up with us? Belichick loves to trade down, not up, and if they don't they will be happy taking the highest player on their short board at 22. The Marshall trade is more believable but still unlikely. I think the Broncos are adamant about wanting first round compensation for him, and they won't go back on that.
