Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.

Only problem is if we dont take him in the 2nd round I think the steelers will get him.
Most say SD will get him if we dont so I doubt he will be available in the 3rd and Ild hate to see SD get him. Yeah your right and its hard to find a guy with his skill set. He presents a need that we have. He is one of the main reasons I want to drop back to get Pouncey.

Gilyard needs to bulk up a bit learn to block a little better and has durability issues but with his hands and speed he is still dangerous. Some say he lacks concentration but they say the same about Dez and if we get him in the 3rd its not as big of a risk.
Heck Ild get Mitchell in the 3rd if Gilyard was gone to. I dont like Mitchell he is a workout warrior but as a 3rd rounder he is a good pick (if no potential 2nd rounders are left)

OK true I can see Best going to SD but I worry about the Eagles the Jets and the Ravens. I hate the Ravens but not as much as SD I have a friend on the Eagles and the Jet i couldnt care less about.

Eagles Will draft either Boise State's Kyle Wilson or Taylor Mays. Most likely Kyle Wilson since there is no Sheldon Brown at CB. Jets will probably get a WR for Sanchez.

If we wouldn't of gotten Moreno last season I would of liked Spiller or Ryan Mathews in a Denver uniform. But Im happy with Moreno he played decent enough for my taste. He would of got 1000+ yards rushing but he shared alot of carries with buckhalter. Jets is possible especially after they released Thomas Jones.
Yeah I meant the 22nd and I originally had us giving up or 6th and maybe another one next year but the 7th sounded better. The Pats have 3 2nd rounders and to move 11 spots up in the 1st there 2 latest 2nd rounders for 1 or 2 late round picks is actually not a bad deal. Deals like that get made all the time. Heck many coaches trade a 2nd rounder for a 6 spot increase that's a common move.
Especially if Bill wants Bryant which some say he does then what I currently have is actually a fair trade

As far as your suggestion that this is a pretty equal trade; I personally think you are doing way too much wishful thinking.
First from a draft pick value chart the value of the #22 and #47 is about the same as #11. We lose few points but the team proposing the trade usually does. So I think you added one to many 2nd round picks.
Second this year because of the depth of the draft, a 2nd round pick is actually worth more than other years.
Just my opinion... Keep up the effort though. I really enjoy reading the thought process.

True this year is different because its deeper we may get another so what do you guys think a trade with NE is worth a 1st and 2nd and...

Pouncey (I just want a rare Center who can play nearly any OL position and Florida like UNLV and UAB was one of the best at getting off the line in the country and they did it with a QB as the leading rusher)
Gerhart: Fills 2 needs at once and is amazing blocker can get us extra yardage when he needs to and considered an explosive bulldozer
Edwards: A steal in the 6th he can be a wildhorse QB can run the reverse and any trick play with a fast WR who can play QB it opens up so many plays
Other then that
Williams has some durability concerns but he has one of the best work ethics in college football. He isnt fast but his hands are amazing I know that we need a deep threat but its hard to pass up a guy who reminds me of Rod Smith.
Misi works hard is a great athlete hes considered undersized as DE but a good size for 3-4 OLB they say he cant pass rush and is only good at getting players off the edge but he had one of the best pass rushes in the senior bowl
Troup is a good blocking NT he can hold blockers down and allow others to make plays. He usually got double teamed and could stop the run we just cant blitz with him which is ok.
CJ Wilson all I can say is with the hot streak he had I think he is a good pick
