For one, Hill is a SS and Atogwe is a FS. Dawkins is our FS so we WILL NOT EVEN LOOK at him.

He will be better off signing with the Cowboys or Vikes. I really dont know who is interested in him, but he will be a good addition to any team.

Dawkins is about to be 37 (if he isn't already) and can't cover the field like he used to be able to. He's more suited for SS now and did play a bit of SS last year too. And Atogwe can play SS as well, it's not like he isn't good against the run. Atogwe and Hill are the same size too

He's the best S in the NFL imo. Unfortunately we probably won't sign him. I would like to sign him and cut/trade Hill and let McBath learn under Atogwe but that's unlikely to happen

i see alot of him here in stl. he is a good safety but what u dont see its all or nothing with him. either he makes the big play or he misses and its a touchdown. he makes just as many bad plays as he does good. dont get me wrong he is a ballhawk but he is often out of position and bites on pump fakes bc he is so aggressive

I think Chicago could use him the most. But him on the Vikings would be scary for Chicago and Green Bay. Vice versa with Green Bay.

Nick Collins is already one of the best coverage safeties in the league. Put Atogwe back there with him and teams might as well not even try and pass against Green Bay

One thing's for sure. He's going to be on a better team this year whoever he signs with. God the Rams are awful...

Last I heard, 3 of the 4 NFC North teams were very interested. Minnesota, Green Bay and Chicago all need an upgrade at Safety.

How many people had us signing Dawkins in how many thought he would like us back.

With Josh as coach we can sign any free agent with good character.

I just don't think we will. Plus the Rams got rid of Atogwe because he was asking for a ton of money, likely wanted to be the highest paid S in the league if not DB. I don't think Denver is willing to shell out that type of money

Atogwe is a pure ball-hawk. He's great against the run, and excellent against the pass. He always seems to be making plays.


Whoever gets him, will have a great piece of the puzzle to build upon on the defensive side of the ball.

Just a body for camp and nothing more..... And with the hole at Rolb...who knows... We can definitely use another pass rusher if that is what his skill sets are
