The first was more or less about Thomas better not give McD any crap... or he's gone. 'My way or the highway"

The 2nd one was when Young kind of laughed (along with TJ) about McD saying he liked Thomas because he reminded him of Marshall. Why not just keep Marshall then?

... because Thomas doesn't have attitude problems and off field indisgressions which could lead to potentially season ending suspensions as well as a contract of 50million dollars with 26 million guaranteed. This same contract could be dead money from the franchise just the same if Marshall is suspended...

If you didn't watch NFLN you missed the best action of the night. Fran Charles and Jim Mora Jr just rip into Jamie Dukes all night. Dukes was so pissed and frustrated that he actually verbally attacked Mora by mentioning Mora's 1 and done with Seattle.

Steve Young could barely put a cogent thought together. I had to switch over to NFLN because of his bumbling, stumbling, incoherent blather.

You could tell Gruden was looking at him with a sense of puzzlement, like, "this guy just doesn't get personnel evaluation at all!"

Steve's evaluations bothered me most of the night, and with Denver's first pick he was WAY to concerned with giving his opinion on the political climate, and oppinion of McD that evaluationg the drafted player, at the drafted postion.

I didn't even think about NFLN having live coverage or i would have switched, i would have loved to have watched Dukes get burried.

Funny thing is that there were many of the same concerns about Steve Young when the Bucs drafted him.... talent wise at least.

I think its the result of taking to many hits to the head. He forgets that many thought the same thing about him as they do of Tebow coming out of college with the whole game doesnt translate to the NFL and is to nice to play in the NFL. That and they said he didnt have a good enough arm. Still playing in the USFL for 2 years and entering the supplementary draft helped alot. Many said his high QB ratings would not continue in the NFL which was wrong.

To bad it took about 8 years for him finally to hit his stride, but now he is considered one of the best. Maybe if thats the case he is speaking from experience. Even though Tebow is faster and stronger then Young ever was.

As for WR he has had his fair share of divas he should understand where the Broncos were coming from.

I felt like Young was waiting the entire night nail McDaniels again for the Cutler and now Marshall situation. He really changed his tune with the Tebow pick. I really am annoyed at the ESPN guys and not one will come back and say Jay Cutler stunk last year McDaniels may have been on to something. Or how about the most blatantly obvious fact that Pat Bowlen would never under any circumstances pay Brandon Marshall the kind of money that Miami is paying. That fact is as much why Josh McDaniels, decided to move Marshall for the best deal possible. McDaniels took Thomas because he saw Marshall like potential, he knew what he was losing and yes Pat Bowlen did dictate that decision more than ESPN has ever let on.

Yeah I agree.

Not sure if you remember but it seemed like on every MNF game Steve Young and Matt Millen would be arguing over something. Kind of funny how Young was criticizing McDaniels for the whole "my way or the highway" thing when Young would constantly start arguments with Millen when he disagreed with him.
