Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.
Thank you for understanding.

I don't believe he ran in the combine or pro day due to injury. However, I saw a video that sounded like he said he ran in the 4.3's the week before the combine. Is that true???
Yes, it's true....unless he's a stone face liar, which doesn't seem likely.
He was expected to run a 4.3 at the combine before he got hurt. Who knows, maybe him not running at the combine helped us get him. It's hard to say.
I knew he was planning on running right before the combine. I wondered how it would affect the draft class of WR's if he ran a 4.3. I guess we now know. I was very much hoping we would land him. I just wasn't projecting it at all because I didn't think we would take a WR in the first and I didn't think he would be available in the 2nd. I was really thinking we would go with Benn or Williams.

Thank you to my grandfather jetrazor for being a veteran of the armed forces!
According to TFY Draft Insider's Tony Pauline, Demaryius Thomas was running forties in the 4.3 range prior to breaking his foot this week.
Thomas' agent confirmed the injury to Pauline while adding that a pin may need to be inserted into Thomas' foot to quicken his healing. The agent also said Thomas ran a 4.38 at 227 lbs. last week, which would've skyrocketed his stock had Thomas repeated the time in Indianapolis. Thomas' camp videotaped the workout and plans to send the footage to all 32 teams.
He plays fast as well. He runs past guys, and I think the only thing he really needs to work on over time is his open field vision. It looks like he might lack a little in the vision, but we saw Larry Fitzgerald improve this aspect of his game, and Thomas definitely is athletic enough to do so. It also could have been a product of him simply not having the ball in his hands enough at GT. He's already got a devestating stiff-arm, and if he can use that size against corners much like Marshall, we might have a more explosive version of BMarsh.
Don't have the numbers but I recall someone on NFL network commented that he was faster than Brandon Marshall. Imagine that, someone with the same physical attributes but with speed! Man, I hope he makes an impact this season.

Not a huge problem now because we got Eric Decker in the 3rd round.
He supposedly ran a 4.38 on film and they sent it to every single team in the NFL. However, I'm not really sure if that's true or not. He definitely has some wheels though.
I'm sure cheerleaders will say "4.3 speed", but that's not the case. From nfldraftscout.com
40 Time: 4.52 / 40 Low: 4.39 / 40 High: 4.64
It's the average time that's counted, just like Travis Goethel ILB / Arizona St, who I'm a fan of, runs a 4.7 40-yrd
Low: 4.58
High: 4.81
draft scout isn't official times its projected times unless they ran at the combine, he was hurt he didnt run this off season officially so thats wrong.
hes a lot faster than Brandon Marshall on tape and Brandon ran a 4.52 I think that was his highest time could be wrong.
I just hope he can go after the ball as well as Brandon Marshal does! BMarsh turned a lot of incompletions into completions and positive yardage.
I wish him and all the Bronco draftees good luck.

You're welcome to lie to yourself, but it's rude to due it to others and doesn't change facts.
according to his profile on this website, he apparently ran a 4.6 40 in college. and we all know colleges like to lie to make their players 40 times look better. so he probably runs about a 4.8 40. which is great. because we need more slow wide receivers on our roster
These are projected times, he never ran a 40 yard dash because he was injured for both the combine and his Pro Day, so these are not legitimate.
All about game speed anyways...unless we are putting together a 4x4 relay team. He is definitely fast on film.
I would be completely satisfied if he shows better hand and blocking than Lelie...we have not had a legit deep threat since him and all he could run was go routes.
If Thomas can be that, it is enough to make our WR core dynamic.
