      There's only been one I believe - - some dude from Harvard, many years ago. A 43 is SUPER high by the way.

          He's fine - - most teams want a QB at 21 minimum. A score of 20 is generally correlated with avg intelligence.

            For the NFL.

            In reality, most of us would get a 35 or 40. Many of us woulds core higher.

            There's a site that has a Wonderlic sim on it someplace.

            Tebow really only got a 22? Seriously?

              It would just depend on what time of year it was - - right after a trade or the draft or a loss - - not so much!

                  Seriously. Look at one of the Wonderlics that were actually given.

                  Most of the people on this board could have four beers in 20 minutes and still score a 30.

                  ... Whoa...

                  Either we have really bright people on this board, or I grossly over-estimate the average human being.

                    Though used in a variety of institutions, the Wonderlic test has become best known for its use in the NFL pre-draft assessments of prospective football players.

                    This assessment roughly corresponds to examples from Paul Zimmerman's The New Thinking Man's Guide to Pro Football. According to Zimmerman, examples of average scores for each position are:

                    * Offensive tackle – 26
                    * Center – 25
                    * Quarterback – 24 (Most teams want at least 21 for a quarterback.)[3]
                    * Guard – 23
                    * Tight end – 22
                    * Safety – 19
                    * Linebacker – 19
                    * Cornerback – 18
                    * Wide receiver – 17
                    * Fullback – 17
                    * Halfback – 16

                      I think you underestimate which people are willing to post their scores online... and that's just from those of us who are willing to take such a test.

                      lol.

                        ... are offensive linemen two of whom are now Broncos. :salute!:

                            Isnt the center like the QB for the Oline? Doesnt he have to read blitz packages, adjust protections, etc? He's gotta be smart. "Dumb jocks" are less and less prevalent in the NFL - the game has gotten so complicated.

                              I will gladly take the Wonderlic if you will give me four beers ... every twenty minutes.

                              Really, man, I'll keep trying as long as you have beer.

                              No math, though. Not a quantifier. I'll write essays.
