  • The 2010 Draft will go down as one of the Broncos' greatest!

Mark my words, our 2010 Draft will be remembered as one of our absolute best IMO, and it's due in large part to how deep the draft was and the immediate impacts our draftees can make.

Usually in every team's draft you can get impact players maybe in the first few rounds, but I honestly feel that we got great players in every single round, from Thomas to Kirlew and I can't wait to see what they can do on the field. We get some big bodies to totally rebuild our Offensive Line, which should open up the offense and make everybody else look good, which is why I am sensing a breakout year for Moreno. Some people were very quick to call Moreno a bust when he didn't do great last season, but two things that hindered Moreno's progress were the injuries to the O-Line and the injury to Buckhalter. Couple that with a rookie back and that would explain the underwhelming season, but now that we got a great O-Line with some great depth Moreno is going to prove he was worth the high draft pick we used on him.

With DeMaryius Thomas and Eric Decker we get two physical WRs that'll make whoever the starting QB is look very good, and should wreak havoc on secondaries in due time. I was a little bummed when we traded Marshall just because of how productive he was on field, but drafting these two has turned that around very quick and they should be great. And that brings me to Perrish Cox, a 5th round steal that can become our next shut down corner once Bailey hangs it up (which I hope isn't for a very long time!)

And then we get Tebow, a proven winner and a guy that has the most heart I've seen in a player since #7. If you aren't sold on this kid and his will to win, may I recommend watching the video where he scored on a broken leg, that is just amazing stuff and shows he is ready to win and will do whatever it takes. You can call him a project which may be true, but the fact of the matter is we got a guy who is going to give 110% to this franchise, and will restore glory to our beloved franchise.

In conclusion, I think that in 10-15 years we will look back at our 2010 Draft and remember it as one of, if not our greatest draft of all-time. And hopefully this draft class can help bring a couple more rings to Denver. And last but not least............................................. GO BRONCOS!! :salute!::salute!:

I totally agree with you on that!! I know people are going to say we are going to suck because or the loss of Nolan. but imo we arn't going to skip a beat!! We have improved our D like non other this off-season by adding Big Jamal, Green, and Bannan. That was our reason for the decline later on in the season was that our D line had no factor in the game. Nobody on that D line could put any pressure on the QB. So we basically had to depend on Dumervil to get to the QB...As for this year our D line will be getting pressure on the QB almost every play. and then to go along with that Dumervil is going to have another monster season and i believe that Ayers is going to have a breakout year opposite Elvis combine that with D.J. and Haggan, and our experienced secondary( which i believe will be getting a LOT more int this season hint Champ Bailey) And i have complete trust that "Wink" will do a great job with these guys. i like the fact that he knows the guys there for he has chemistry with them. Also i am sure that he knows how to run a defense coming from San Diego and also being here last year with Nolan. We should expect more of a Rex Ryan-ish/Ravens/Jets type of attacting D this season i am stoked!!

I think we got a lot of good steals on top of all that. Perrish Cox in the 5th and Eric Decker in the late 3rd.

I agree...amazing draft with great value. That's how dynasties are built. McDaniels clearly has a vision and is an independent thinker (like myself) and I admire that....he's not afraid to be his own person, regardless of whether or not it's against the grain.

Here's to the next decade.... I'm so excited to watch it unfold.

            Go Broncos!

I watched an even better QB with a broken leg literally get carried from snap to snap by his offensive lineman during a game winning TD drive and I wasn't nearly moved to the point that I was glad that my favorite team wasted a No1 pick on him.

This pretentious nonsense does nothing for me, I'm more impressed with a QB that can actually run a legitimate NFL offense, something this teams fans won't be seeing for a Loooooong, Loooooong time.......

So we're not even going to give Tebow a chance huh? Well alright just close up the thread then Let's at least give the dude a chance to take a snap, we're nowhere near the season and some people aren't even willing to give him a chance.

Has nothing to do with giving Tebow a chance, I'm actually thrilled that Orton will soon be a former Denver Bronco, it has everything to do with the 25th pick they wasted on Tebow and the POS spread offense they're gonna design get him on the field.

I hate the spread and I hate hype, and those are the two biggest things Tebow brings to the table.

Btw, don't put words in my mouth, that's baiting.......

I think maybe we'll see the spread for a little while, but eventually Tebow will learn a pro-style offense I think. Also I don't mind hype if it will bring back some excitement to Denver, which Tebow seems to be doing already :salute!:

Hey man, I jump from one place to another and you're spreading love everywhere tonight aren't you? It's a free world, and you are entitled......but here's the deal, you have no way of knowing how this will all end up, therefore as much as you have a right to comment, you still don't have the answers.

I'm thinking good results for our team for a long, long time, and whether or not you believe it will happen, doesn't amount to a hill of beans.

They already run the spread, but I think it'll have to be even more of the kinda crap that Urban Meyer runs to get 25th picks worth out of Tim Tebow. But again, I don't mind the choice, I mind where the choice was made.

How has Tebow brought back excitement, btw? Through hype, this was a PR move all the way, and a total waste of a premium draft pick. Even if he turns out to be the Next Steve Young, maybe he could, that's not how the draft works. Terrell Davis deserved to be a 6th round pick, Tom Brady deserved to be a 5th round pick and Tim Tebow deserved to be a 3rd to 4th round pick.

If you play your cards right you may still be able to get a legitimate 1st/2nd round pick and Tim Tebow, but apparently McDaniels has no interest in playing his cards right.......he actually shows almost zero aptitude in doing that.

Btw, Urban Meyers has said that he doesn't think pro coaches have the guts to run a spread at the pro level, lmfao. No, Urb, maybe pro coaches just think the spread sucks and that it should stay in the Arena League where it belongs......

Let's hope not, Steve Young is an asswipe.

And there is much more to this draft than Tebow!

Yeah maybe so, but that's not how it worked out so why bring it up? And Tebow was going to be a first rounder anyway, because word was Minnesota and Buffalo were going to take him, so he wasn't going to slip into the 3rd or 4th. And how does McDaniels not know how to play his cards right? He went and got the guy he wanted, and if you look past the Tebow pick there were a lot of other good picks. McDaniels knew who he wanted and he got his guy, that's what every coach does.

Wait? If I have a positive attitude like yours then my opinion amounts to a hill of beans? Sweet! I think that with a little luck, hard work, the proper motivation and encouragement, I could have this attitude turned around by lunch time tomorrow.

To be honest, I'm thinking that maybe you're right, good results for a long, long time.......but now, I'm also thinking that whether or not you're thinking good results for a long, long time doesn't amount to a hill of beans either.......
