Don't see this happening but it would give Orton a great situation and allow him to lay it to the Bears a few times a year.

Favre just doesn't want to go through camp. I don't care what your creds are, if you don't participate through camp, you are not the #1 guy at your position. Favre wants all of the glory and none of the work.

You really cant blame the man for NOT wanting to go through a rigorous TC when he is 41 yrs old, give or take. The man is old. He didnt go through camp last offseason and he produced some great numbers. He was in talks for MVP.

So to sand bag Favre and say he wants the glory and not to work for it is a terrible thing to say. He has put in plenty of time to his craft.

Big deal. He's 41. Favre has become a prima donna and is no where as good as he once was. Regardless of what you hear from his team, there has to be some guys that really resent he is not participating. Doesn't really help the old team morale.

Yes, cause the team morale was SOOO terrible last season. He didnt even go to TC last offseaso (as i said before) and he came out swingin' and the WHOLE Vikes team loved him. I dont think there is any animosity towards Favre. Everyone knew this was going to happen. STOP acting so shocked he wasnt going to show up.

They must really hate us right now. They could take Russell or give Jackson another shot. Otherwise they should give us a call we have 4 QB's lol. I say make a trade for Kevin or Pat Williams

The problem that I have with Favre not being there is, what kind of message are the Vikes sending? Not one person is above the "TEAM" Will the Vikings do this for EVERY VET? Sure, Favre made clutch throws, BUT, the recievers made clutch catches. I'm pretty sure there isn't any animosity amongst the team, as long as they get the same treatment when there time comes. I think that there will be some animosity if the Vikes don't make or win the SuperBowl. Of course you don't here anybody saying anything now, but whenever he retires, or Brad Childress get fired, stay tuned to the NFL Network & ESPN, i'm pretty sure something will be said.

Nah! Orton for Peterson straight up!

Allen is a monster, no way it happens, he's a 4-3 DE and the best in the game.. I would take some nice draft picks, but Favre is coming back so it wont matter.

Id be very happy with an Orton and Ej henderson swap if he fully recovers from the broken leg we could use an ILB

They don't need another QB. They have Tavaris Jackson and Sage Rosenfels who I'm sure they are more comfortable with than they would be with Orton.

I'm glad somebody is with me on the Tebow issue. Yet another bad move by the organization. Just cause he has heart doen't mean squat in the NFL. He may be good, but I'm not counting on it. Hell, folks on here calling for him to start? lmao!! The urban meyer option/run doesn't work against NFL Lb's. I hope for the teams sake he is great, but to say "he's our man" is a joke so far.
