2011 Draft Needs and Mock

I feel to many people are caught up in the size factor with players. Just because a player physically meets up to standards doesn't mean talent wise they do. If Jake Locker had come out last year he would have been the number 1 overall pick, why because physically he is the ideal QB. It happens all the time. Now im not saying size isnt important, but its to much of a deermining factor. Talent is more important than size.

So judging by what your saying, Tom Brandstater should have been a top pick when he came out, he was the perfect prototypical QB size!

Jake Locker would have been a top pick last year because he put up great numbers, you see his draft stock falling now because he seems to have regressed this year.

I dont think that what he meant at all. i think he meant that we should draft people with actual talent and not draft people that look like they should play the position with limited talent. People drop in drafts all the time because people question their size and nothing else and a lot of the time the "experts" end up being beyond wrong.

The only positions I care about are RB (for style of running), WR (Physical or speedy), and CB (nickelback or full timer).

I don't know about more Notre Dame players now.....Floyd would be the only one I'd want on our team now, the rest look terrible at the time being. I would have LOVED to see us get Golden Tate last year, strongest hands on a reciever in a long while.

I really wanted to draft Zibby. But it didn't happen.
In fact, he's currently my favorite NFL player.

And it's highly unlikely that they'll give him up for just a 3rd.

I don't think they'd give Tillman up. If we offered a 2nd though (which is too high), I'm sure they would have to consider it.

Seriously, I'd rather just take my chances and draft a CB with that 2nd round pick.
