Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.
Thank you for understanding.

Look at their backup quarterbacks: Jordan Palmer and J.T. O'Sullivan. They could bring JaMarcus Russell as a 4th quarterback for training camp and see what happens. If he falls asleep during meetings, goodbye. Not a big deal.
_Chad Ochocinco dropped a hint the Bengals are going to bring in former Raiders quarterback JaMarcus Russell. Not so fast, OCNN. Here is what happened from what can be pieced together.
The Bengals have apparently called old friend Hue Jackson to ask about Russell. It is believed that Jackson, the Raiders offensive coordinator and former Bengals receivers coach, didn’t kill him and talked positively about him. But apparently Russell isn’t ready to make a move yet and the Bengals just called his people to see what he’s thinking. The club isn’t sure there is a fit and right now just seems to be kicking tires.
But stay tuned. Marvin Lewis said earlier in the day they are not done tinkering with the roster.
Heard the complete opposite, heard that Hue totally went off on Russell for being a lazy son of a B and that he'll be unemployed in no time. And besides, there's not much to say about Russell that was good.. He slept in meetings, ditched meetings for Vegas, got addicted to Sizzurp, overweight, never watched film, etc etc.
I think that makes more sense considering Hue was a real ass during MC & the players said they've never felt more accountable for their play on the field.
Exactly what i was thinking. I hope the guy can turn his life/career around and shove it up Al Davis' bum.
Lol, Davis went out of his way and made him self look like an even bigger fool by sticking up for JaMarcus when Lane bad mouthed him and said "JaMarcus is a great playa, get ovah it".. what did Russell do to prove Davis correct? Nothing... took the $39 mil and ran, wouldn't even restructure his contract despite his lack of performance & the teams cap problems.

Well my bad for blaming Al Davis for him... I guess he just sucks all around.
Either way, i still hope he turns his life/career around and proves everyone wrong.
I always go for the underdog (unless they are going against Denver)
