Would McD consider bringing in a real FB for Moreno? Probably not, but if we brought in a Darren Sproles-type player we could have the New England-esque running back by committee!

I don't think we will run a RB by committee. McD mentioned when he drafted Moreno that he believed that Moreno was an every down RB, and how he has good hands, and he's good at picking up the blitz.

maybe running back by committee was the wrong word here... I just think that if we had different styles of back, we could keep the defenses on their heels every week.

I think Larsen does a nice job and is still getting better. Not worth the money for a limited upgrade imo.

I wouldn't want to spend the $ on bringing him in. I think we need to worry about resigning some of our current players.

Champ, Lloyd, Thomas, Vickerson, Mays, and Harris to name a few all of which are more important than a FB.

That gives us mostly a power back system, I think we need at least a cut back like Buckhalter but younger to be flexible

Thats what we have,a power back system.All of those RBs are fast and run with power.You are talking about an elusive guy who is shifty and fast without power,breakaway speed.

The Broncos could probably sign McClain if they did two things:

1) Make him a huge contact offer, and

2) Make him a fulltime RB

Not sure if I would do it though...I really wish the Broncos would give Lance Ball an extended shot down the stretch

I really do like McLain,

but, I also am a huge Larsen fan. The dude runs with a non-stop motor, never takes a play off. Plus, he can play LB in a pinch too.

If we got McLain, i'd make him a RB. Use him as a closer in the fourth, or to pound the defense to setup a big run by a scatback.

If you moved McLain to RB, you are looking at more of a Michael Turner type, which has value, but it really depends on the cost...I wouldn't break the bank for him
