I agree that most of McD's mistakes like Shannys were personnel decisions. Lombardi says the same thing, what we need more then anything is to take power away from McD so he can focus on coaching rather then managing the entire organization. I am not sure how competent Xanders is but we need a hands on GM like Parcells.

Perhaps if we get someone who knows how to build a team. Perhaps if we can convince Dungy who built the Bucs and the Colts to be a GM since its less stressful and less full time then Coach we can get some rebuilding done.

There is more than one headcoach that is worth taking and gruden isnt even on my list. Once the tampa bay team he inherited was fully under his control he ran it into the ground. If he comes here I will be so pissed off. I honestly dont like him. He seems love san diego and phillip rivers. Not what we want. How could we probaly easily get him. We would need to give him like 10 mil oer year to get him away from ESPN.

He inherited defense from Dungy in Tampa so nothing special there. But just having ring makes him $10 mil man. That is ridiculous money. Same goes with Brian Billick when he had top 3 ranked defenses whole decade and didn't do much after winning his first SB.

I will go after Jimmy Raye of Chargers as our GM if he is willing.
