Hell I would bring in Haynesworth, draft Fairley, resign Champ, trade Doom for a 1st and draft Peterson and we'd have the best defense in the NFL. If you give Haynesworth what he wants, and that's a 4-3 defense, he'll be a good boy. And we have enough promising WRs that we can afford to give up Royal. He hasn't really done much in Denver. With Thomas, Lloyd, Dekker etc...we will be good.

Many of these over paid millionaires

    act like 2 yr olds!
When you draft a young DL it takes them years to learn what Haynesworth knows now! He did good for the Titans in the 4-3 and would probably do pretty good in Denver in the 4-3! Use that draft choice to fill one of Denver's other weak positions!:thumb:

Haynesworth can be good when he wants to.With the amount of money he signed for he should have kept his mouth shut and not act like a 2 year old.The first time he got mad in Denver he would do the same damn thing.I would rather get someone younger in the draft than put up with his crap.

Haynesworth is a wast of roster space and money.

also why would we want to lose an awesome player like Royal, not to mention he's a great guy, for a person like Haynesworth?
Maybe because in a 4-3 defense he is a awesome force. Washington signed him with the idea of him being a 4-3 lineman then the Skins brought in Shanny (and his my way or the highway demeanor) and new defensive coaches and he isn't happy at all.
Part of peoples complaints about McD was that he got rid of "I" people and that helped get him fired, now you are wanting "good, honorable players"???
I agree with you, too bad all their players aren't choir boys but that isn't the case. I am just looking for a way Denver can win in the next season or two and sticking with the 3-4 and drafting new DL will take 3 to 5 yrs to build a team IF DENVER KEEPS THE SAME DC THAT LONG! You know they won't do that!:thumb:

If we go 4-3 we might want to trade Elvis as well. He is more of 3-4 OLB than 4-3 end. We may get some value for it. Also we are in dire need of playmaking safety. don't know for sure who is available but we need it badly more than anything. I am all for drafting middle of defense. i.e MLB & safety.

I would say draft strong 4-3 passing rushing end. Next two rounds draft free ball hawking safety and MLB. we have Richard Quinn so we don't need TE. He is capable of catching passes. The current coaches don't know how to use him other than blocking purposes but new coaches will figure out how to get him involved.

I don't think we're as loaded at WR as people seem to think. Gaffney and Lloyd aren't going to be here for much longer. DT hasn't been healthy all year and we don't know if we can rely on him although I do think we can. Decker is good. After that we have Willis who hasn't done anything, Britt Davis who hasn't done anything and some more guys who haven't done anything. Royal is the guy that makes people believe we have a WR corp for the future. If we get rid of him we'll be drafting another WR in a season or two.
willis looked GREAT in the preseason and had a good connection with tebow and he got hurt llike game 3 of the season and got put on IR so of course he hasnt done anything

Perhaps but they probably won't sign with Denver. Haynesworth (like him or not) was a dominate player with the Titans in the 4-3 and can be again. With him Williams, Vickerson and Doom and Ayers they can put pressure on the quarterback. Haynesworth will demand double teaming meaning Doom and the others will receive single blockers much of the time.

Denver is loaded at WR spot and can afford to lose Royal and Shanny loves him!

    Defensively they would have:
    DE-Ayers/ Doom
    DT-Williams-Thomas
    DT-Haynesworth-Bannan
    DE-Vickerson-Hunter
    OLB-DJ Williams-Haggan
    MLB- Jones-Fields
    OLB-Woodward-Viequan
    RC-Champ-Cox
    Safety-McBath-Dawkins
    Safety-Hill-Bruton
    LCB-Peterson-Thompson-Goodman

I think Decker will be able to move into Royals place if this trade takes off and If they can keep Champ, Peterson and him will make one of the best CB combos in the league until Champ is ready to move to safety!

The haynsworth thing is a terrible idea. He may take time off and I would rather just keep royal. I think we need to go Dline in the first. I like jones in the second. I wouldnt mind joseph barksdale in the 2nd as well because harris may be gone. TE in the 3rd is a bad idea unless we garner atleast 3 more picks which we probaly will. We need defense, defense, defense.a

    Defensively they would have:
DE-Ayers/ Doom Silly stuff. Doom will be a starter with probaly ayers on the other side as ayers
    DT-Williams-Thomas
DT-Haynesworth-Bannan [B]Like i said i dont like haynsworth[. I wouild rather draft fairley and him start at DT here with bannan starting at the other spot. I would also rather a free agent addition starting at the other spot. Preferrable brandon mabene or barry cofield./B]
DE-Vickerson-Hunter I want vickerson as a backup as I do want5 bannan as a backup at the DT position. Also hunter as a backup at DE with Veikune. He was a hell of a 4-3 DE in college. And has failed at converting in clevland.
OLB-DJ Williams-Haggan I think DJ could stay at 4-3 MLB. He done it this season in the 4-3 pretty well.
MLB- Jones-Fields Jones could play OLB instead of MLB and without DJ having to move back out there. Jones has a lot better coverage skills than DJ anyway.
OLB-Woodward-Viequan Veikune is a Dlineman or a OLB in the 3-4. Not a 4-3 coverage guy.
RC-Champ-Cox Champ will not resign here in my opinion. But if he does I dont think we need to draft peterson. Goodman can still be a starter in the NFL. Also I hope cox stays out of jail and is a backup for us.
Safety-McBath-Dawkins Love it and hate it. Mcbath i want to start. Dawkins shoul;d be cut. Hopefully signs with the eagles to play one more season as a backup.
Safety-Hill-Bruton I dont will hill to start next year but with the limited draft picks at this pointr and a wide range of needs than he may have to start. I personally dont like him but I think it could be decent for one more year,
LCB-Peterson-Thompson-Goodman Like I said I dont want peterson if we resign champ or for that matter at all. Thompson and cox are both great nickelbacks subbing in and out. Goodman can still start as I said.

I think Decker will be able to move into Royals place if this trade takes off and If they can keep Champ, Peterson and him will make one of the best CB combos in the league until Champ is ready to move to safety!

Not a bad idea if we could hire Ron Rivera. A defensive minded coach who could movitate Haynesworth and go back to a 4-3, but only if washington pay some of his contract. It could be possible due to the fact that he has no trade value and washington getting Royal and a 2nd rounder only.
