Can someone please tell me why every one wants Peterson?

If Peterson tests out at the combine like everyone expects him to, there is no way they pass on him, imo. They may need Dline badly but they also need DBs badly and guys like Peterson don't come around that often. He has the speed and skills to be a top CB and the size to be absolutely deadly at FS. Fairley has been dominate this season and just this season but also has some issues with dirty play (which many teams won't care about) but the chance to take a potential top CB over a DE who I believe will be just average is too great to pass on, no matter how much Dline is needed. Teams that draft for need over BPA never get better.

I think Peterson is the best overall prosepct in the draft aside from Luck, but Id much rather the Broncos draft a player that can a least stop the run.

Charles, Matthews, and McFadden are all young, extremely talented backs that will tear the Broncos apart for years unless they make a serious effort to build the defensive line. The Chiefs and Raiders have the 1st and 2nd rushing offenses in the NFL.

Opting to pick Peterson and wating till later rounds to address the defensive line overlooks the magnitude of the Broncos woeful rush defense and the divsion in which they play.

I just think that peterson is the 2nd best player in the draft. Cameron heyward, jared crick, cameron jordan, and lAwrence guy one of them could possibly fall to the 2nd. But the biggest need is a nose tackle if we keep 3-4

Id take Peterson over Amukamara. Just from the games ive watched Peterson is a much better tackler. Ive seen Amukamara miss a lot of tackles.
