I don't know if Bowers can play OLB in the 3-4 or if Fairley can play NT in the 3-4. Are we gonnna stick with the 3-4 or are we going back to the 4-3?
I think we'll keep the pick and just take the best available player. Right now that player looks to be Bowers.
The draft itself is a crap shoot but I don't see the difference in taking a junior or senior. Either you can play or you can't. There are plenty of juniors that have made an impact in the NFL.

I would like to see us either draft Fairley or Peterson (assuming Champ doesnt resign). I really dont want to trade down and grab more picks unless its one more 2nd.

If Luck gets to us, then that changes everything. But I foresee him being there.
It would go against Belicheck's draft philosophy to trade up instead of down, but Tom Brady isn't getting any younger, and the window may be closing soon.sigpic

He could have 12 sacks next year and we'd still may only win 4 games.

Bowers lacks initial burst and foot work to be an OLB and honestly hes a prototypical 4-3 DE and nothing else unless we change to a 4-3 this would be a horrible pick, and honestly if we do change to a 4-3 it would probably still be a bad pick because Haggan and Ayers arent bad DE and then we have Doom who weld need to get rid of although some were talking about using him in a pseudo 4-3/3-4 where he plays a rush LB and has big guys up front opening lanes for him. That might work
