What RB prospects do you guys like?

With the list of coaches that the broncos have interest in, its clear that the team is looking more towards a run-first offense, and with Tebow at QB its gonna be imperative to have a lot of carries for our RB's to take the heat off of Tim. I really like Knowshon, and I think he'll be an awesome starter next year and have a big year, but we need to draft a rb for two reasons: 1) Knowshon has injury and durability issues, and we cannot afford to have him miss games with the current group of rb's we have right now (especially after the horror show that was the three game stretch of Maroney/Buckhalter splitting carries). 2) Every team needs to have a change of pace back ala Tatum Bell w/ Mike Anderson, and we need to get some game changing speed in our backfield.

What prospects do you guys think we can nab in rounds 3-7 that would help us out next year? I like Demarco Murray, Kendall Hunter and Mikel Leshoure

Locke and Payne if they come cheap. i.e. UDFA or 7th rounder.

Wait until Moreno has a 3rd year and has a good blocking scheme (something we didnt have but still managed to have 4.2 ypc) before we pass judgement. Most RB's have a bad year hampered by injuries, that doesnt mean they should be replaced and most of the time that year happens in the 2nd season.

If Jamie Harper stayed a year Ild say him in 11, but one guy we should look out for is Enrique Davis I think he will sky rocket after next year, and if not a great steal the guy is a good combo back but is missing some raw skills (that and honestly I question the teams blocking)

Darren Evans could drop to 6th round.

I like Hunter and Murray as well a mid round options to complement Moreno, and Vereen as well, if he would fall to the 3rd.

LeShoure is one of my favorites, but I think he is gone in the 2nd, and he wouldn't complement Moreno that well, since he isn't a speed guy.

If we waited until next year, LaMichael James would be great to pair with Knowshon.

Well, I always advocated for Noel Devine and still do, But i don't know if he will be able to handle the blocking or pick-up on the blitzes. That's why i lean towards Demarco Murray. Murray has speed (He also returns kicks too) and can pickup blitzes And has a better built than Devine. Either one would be a great pick-up for us, If the Broncos decide to go that way.

Goes without saying next year the only thing I dont like is 3-4 DE and 3-4 OLB. Its one of the reason we have several ill advised early entries into this years draft at most positions. They see this year as a better opportunity to be drafted.

I say we wait a year and I wouldnt mind drafting Davis especially if he stays low becase of the arrest in 09 due making a crazy face at an officer in Mississippi (failure to comply was the official charge but the officer said in the report he asked him because he made a cazy face)

I like Roy Helu Jr. from Nebraska. He has good size and speed and we could get him in the mid to later rounds.

Brandon saine and da'rel scott. Both have great speed and saine has great size as well both projected rds 5-7

I agree & i still have to change my picks on the bottom. But, Say if we get extra 3rd rounder, It would be a possibility.

Whichever rbs we don't draft ...to clear up what that means we need to draft all defense

I like Mark Ingram, but i don´t think Denver should draft him, because that would be a draftpick that we would need to spend on DL
