I didn't mention 200th best player for any other reason than the 6th round is where the 200th player would be drafted.

Why are we paying champ 14 mil a year? He is on decline, a better contract would be; 2 years at corner 23 mil 3 years at safety 27 mil, total 5 years 50 mil.

Depending on which chart you use (the real one or the made up one), unless SF's 2012 2nd round pick is somehow between 28th and 29th overall you're getting Josh McDaniels' type value for the #2 overall. Considering the imminent rookie salary cap, l would think that "Lottery" draft picks are more valuable than ever.

And l wish l could believe that Denver will get a 2nd round pick for Orton, but I can't (draft picks are more valuable than ever).......Not that it matters, from what l understand, without a new CBA there will be no trading of NFL players.

By the way, Denver needs 1st round picks and a lot of them, the higher the better, try to work a few more of those into your future mocks.

By the way, after Heyward's bowl game you might want to flip-flop him and Moore. Because even though Crick had something like 9 sacks w/o Suh next to him, he may not come out this year.......

I was going to put we got more in return for the second overall pick but I didnt know how accurate the draft charts were so i left roughly 200 points off. My gut initially told me to put a 2012 1st rounder instead of the second rounder but I didnt want to get flamed for expecting so much. I will change it tho since others believe we should get more thank you.

I put us at signing bailey for so much because he, most of the league, and many analysts still consider him one of the best corners in the league (at the very least top five) and with Nnamdi just backing out of a deal that would have paid him an absurd 17 million next year I would expect Bailey would want something at least comparable to that. I do not believe that he is worth it (I do not believe any corner is worth it for that matter) but i believe it is what its going to take to sign him.
