Pretty good mock. Phil Taylor is a gigantic reach in the second IMO no matter the scheme. Are you planning on sticking with the 3-4 in this draft?

not at all, he wiill be the first NT off the board, and to get him we'd need to pick him before the texan in the second

how do we have 3 2nd round picks? you saying we get a 2nd for Orton? and Phil Taylor is too high-- i think a better safety option in the 2nd is Kenny Tate of Maryland

He wil only be the first off because this is such a weak class of pure nose tackles. That is also no reason to take him there. He is no where as good as some have valued him. I would not be opposed to taking him in the late second or the third. but no way with the second pick of the second round.

However besides that i really like it. Alot.

However with the draft picks avalble to us I think we are better off in the 4-3. With guys like Nick Fairley, Stephen Paea, Jurrell Casey, Christian Ballard, Jared Crick, Ryan Kerrigan, Greg Romeus, Sam Acho we can build our 4-3 line for the next 6-10 years with solid picks in each of the first three rounds. Plus with Ayers moving back to the end he may live up to the expectations. Also getting elvis dumervil is like having another first round pick.

I say 4-3 is the way to go. But nice mock

Phil Taylor is terrible. He's been terrible his entire collegiate career. He had a nice 4 game run this season, and then went back to being terrible.

He's a 5th round guy. People overreact because he's big, fat, and slow. He also has massive character concerns.

Wade likes small nose tackles, we could easily get him with our next second, maybe even third.

yeah both pat williams and jamall williams where small NTs right.

yeah thats an incorrect statement he just ha jay ratliff from cowboys. he will take the best NT on his board. that simple, it is obne of the biggest needs on that D along with a rush backer

Like i said that is no reason to take him. Paea is great. Go watch a beavers game. You will like him.

They were smaller when Wade was in town.

Early reports is that Wade likes Earl Mitchell as their nose and he weighs 300.

Tate is a 6'4" safety....not a long history of success with that in the NFL...

Not worry about his height. Just watch him play.
