  • Sportsagentblog's 2011 Mock Draft w/agents (Round 1)

Hey everyone, my name is Brandon Thorn and I currently write for Sportsagentblog, covering the 2011 NFL Draft. I serve in the U.S. Air Force and do this on the side. I was born in Denver and have and always will be a die-hard Bronco fan. I would like to post a link to my mock draft, which also has links for my Top 32 overall players, as well as my Top 5 for every position. Comments are highly encouraged, I hope that you guys find my perspective original and enjoy my work. One more thing, GO BRONCOS!

Here is my latest mock draft (round 2 will be here soon!)

It's not a bad mock, but you have a few key errors imo.

JJ Watt is more than likely a top 13 pick, let alone missing the first round altogether.

The mock has Watt going at 17 to NE.

Oh right, I searched JJ instead of J.J so that's why I thought he wasn't there.

Regardless, it's still a neat mock with only a few things I disagree with.

        good job.

          J.J. Watt

No way I would've left J.J. Watt out of the top 20

              2nd round coming tomorrow

I'm done with the first half of round 2, Denver has two second rounders this year so the possibilities are GREAT for us this year in the draft!

                Second round

how do you guys feel about Kyle Rudolph with one of our second round picks? He is almost a clone of Heath Miller and could be our starter for the next decade..I think he would be a great fit and he holds very good value in the middle of the second as well...

I'd rather get defense, I wouldn't hate the pick.

Honestly I'd really like the pick, getting a top prospect wouldn't hurt at all

I like Rudolph, but not in the 2nd. That doesn't mean he's not worth a 2nd, because he is, but i'm probably 1 of 3 posters that like Gronkowski, and I REALLY WANT TO SEE WHAT WE HAVE IN RICHARD QUINN. We spent a 2nd rd pick in 09 on Quinn, and we haven't given him an opportunity to help us out in the passing game. Plus i'm a fan of some of the mid-late rd TE's.

If the Browns pass on AJ Green (or Julio Jones if Green is not there) Holmgren needs to excuse himself from his position. The Browns GM needs to resign, the owner needs to sell the team, and the team should trade Joe Thomas, Peyton Hillis, Bowers, and Colt McCoy because the team has no interest in improving and they should save everybody the heartache of having idiots run the team.

                        This is me being nice.
The Browns are gone; I'm not a fan of the Impostors

The real Browns are in Baltimore, see?

A.J. Green & our second rounder

I hear what you're saying about passing on A.J. Green. I think I made a legitimate reason for picking Bowers over him though. I honestly have been seriously switching that though. A.J. Green is the better prospect, but the move to the 4-3 with such a weak defensive line (especially at end) would make it difficult.

I like Quinn too but he was drafted to block..Rudolph does everything well, but I can see how you have hope for him still, definitly. I'm really excited about the 2nd round I have coming for you guys..I'm working on finishing it tonight, it's SO time consuming though. I have them going defense with one of their 2 second rounders though..I won't give away who or what position it is just yet though.
