Orton may not be around long. I'd look for a QB to be added at some point in time. Not going to comment on who, when or where that QB comes from, your guess is as good as mine. I'd think it'd be a non starter or project type.

LOL I must admit that's very puzzling. It's a slap in the face of our current QBs. A private workout with one of the top QBs in the 2011 draft. I understand that any team with Orton as the starter will keep looking for a replacement worthy of being a franchise QB. But maybe the team is really trying to get rid of Tebow.

The funny part is that I don't think Locker is much more polished than Tebow. He has some college experience under center but that's it, Tebow already has some NFL experience under center. Private workouts with Von Miller and Jake Locker, to me, are strategies for a team that's willing to trade down.

Drafting Locker would be ridiculous even if the FO doesn't care for Tebow. They have similar styles (Locker has a stronger arm IMO) but is just as much of a project and would be a year behind development-wise. Something is fishy there.

If we needed a QB, I would be very estatic about this. Locker's my favorite QB of this draft class. He's gonna help out whoever drafts him IMO. There's a lot of things I like about him.

Probably a smoke screen tho.
