I don't think we'd take a QB early unless we already had a deal to trade Tebow in place. Getting "stuck" with two young, raw QB's who were both drafted early is not a good situation for the team. Both require substantial effort to develop, and it is a QB controversy waiting to happen the second someone screws up on the field.

Right now pre-draft, I think Buffalo would the most likely team. But we'll have to see where Gabbert, Ponder, Newton, Locker etc. Go. Cause whatever teams take a QB early, won't want Tebow.

I don't think it would take a very special suitor to trade Tebow. He is not the only scrambling quarterback coming from a spread offense. And he does not come with the risk of failing due to lack of commitment. The teams who want Tebow know they are going to get a quarterback with the necessary work ethic and leadership skills.

Buffalo, Minnesota, New England and Cleveland were some of the teams with strong interest in Tebow, according to his agent. I don't know which draft pick would be available for him, but I am sure there would be more than one team after the kid.

That is a huge question also. Hopefully if we do plan on taking a QB (which i dont want to do) they would probaly put together a plan to maybe bamboozal (cant spell) everyone.

    Hypothetical plan:

It comes to pick 34. The buffalo bills passed up on cam newton and gabbert went first overall. Locker went to seatle and the bills are on the clock in 2 picks. We call and trade tebow for the 34th pick. Then when we are on the clock we take Ryan Mallet and then immediatly try to work a deal to move Kyle Orton to arizona or minnasota for there second round pick. Keeps all there value high. We get our future starter and more picks in the second round. Win win. I know it is really unrealsistic but they would put some plan together to get max value and show they are not giving up on tebow to keep his value high.

Obviously only if a CBA is in place.

PS: I dont want to draft a QB as I beleive tebow is the answer but if it does happen then I want Ryan Mallet.

You don't need to be a role model in my opinion. As long as you're not lazy and you give it all you've got inside the pitch that's good enough.
But talking about Cam, how crazy would it be to play in a wildcat with Cam, Tebow and Orton? lmao multiple run, passing and receiving options.
Well with john fox as head coach i doubt we will being playing any fancy packages like wildcat with 3 Qbs in the game.

    No I'm not high kid.
Even if what you're saying is true, how is that relevant to the conversation whatsoever? We're talking about 2011. Not 2010.

Just because you have this crack-headed opinion that Tim Tebow is a better QB prospect than any QB in this draft (this opinion literally makes me laugh out loud), doesn't mean that anyone who actually is making the decisions does.

Newsflash: You don't run the Broncos.

The people in charge have made it more than clear that they are not satisfied with Tebow and are at LEAST interested in finding another quarterback.

Your opinion means literally nothing about what will happen. You can say, "We shouldn't draft a QB," but that doesn't mean it's not going to happen.

Welcome to the NFL, where 'stupid' decisions are made on a yearly basis.

The Broncos are not immune to the disease.

I just don't buy that. I don't care that he drink/drank/drinks. He's in college. It's what you do. The drug issue, he's never failed a piss test. There's reports about cocaine and pot, but they're just reports. Worst case scenario, even if the coke issue is true, he's young, and he's going to try things. Good and bad. If it was a legitimate issue don't you think there'd be some actual proof? I don't know. I just don't care I guess. Those aren't "character concerns" to me. I consider that being young, with a name, and living in life while going to college,

It's garbage. Mallett has legit concerns as an NFL prospect. Such as his complete lack of mobilty, but as far as a pure passer he's the best of the class, him being a statue in the pocket is what's really concerning. Looks a lot like Byron Lefwich in many ways.
Exactly. Its the same with jimmy smith. He is made to look like a bad kid because he had some drink and smoked dope. Things a hell of a lot of college students do.

However the cocaine is a different thing. Thats is the sort of thing that sends people over the edge. Sure nothing is proven but im fine with pot and drink. But not cocaine or the purple drank of which jamarcus russel was using and dealing or whatever.

Plus the concern about his mobility is crap IMO. I think he has limited mobility obviously but on the field i would say he is a complete statue. He isnt like orton who looks like he will trip when ever he moves.

I would take mallet in the second if he was there and we wanted a QB.

PS: Dont get me wrong. I dont want to draft a QB.
