  • Down to my last( Denver's pick at #2)

I have come to my conclusion of who should be our pick, assuming we don't trade out of the number 2 spot.

I think Dareus or Von Miller will be our pick, and I would love for it to happen.

Now understand, before I was all on the Fairley or Peterson hype, but now that Champ will be back, Andre will be healthy, we can still get a guy or 2 in FA to replace Nate Jones, and Cox if he goes to jail. So I rule out P.P.

As for Fairley, yes I like the guy, he has great skill, and development, but he is just not that guy for our set, I fill that Dareus is a much better and safer pick.

Now about Von Miller, he is just a out standing talent, and would got great with the pass rush.

He could either start over Ayers, or back him up, but either way I think he can play the SLB spot, with success.

Bowers to me is not as much of a need as Dareus, because to me we need a DT more than a DE, even with the fact that every spot on the line needs work. But DT is more of a need, Dareus is the guy for that.

But this is all assuming we don't just trade down or out.

Miller wouldn't back up Ayers in any scenario..... Ayers will be playing DE.

Miller is a strong canidate to go #3 overall... If we want him (which I doubt). We wouldn't risk trading down. But...... Once again. We won't be able to trade down. It's not a possibility.

Well i think if a new CBA is agreed upon by the draft a possible trade down is a huge possibilty

Von's stock is rising bye the day, he is now at the point of where he can go anyway, and is expected to go 3rd, Todd McShay has us taking in his latest mock. Not saying McShay or Kiper is right, but there getting paid to make these predictions.

Denver is looking at every spot on the team and every player in the draft, don't doubt who they are looking at.

Exactly, as long as there is time between now in the draft, a deal can get down.

I dont like mcshay or kiper. I have always liked mayock but these guys are just IMO hyping up the guys who the network they work for love. NFL network now has Marcel Darius and Blaine Gabbert. It just annoys me. These guys are showman. They have gone away from just giving fans what they need to know about prospects of their team may be looking at drafting.

They need an analysis who just talks about prospects for like an 1 hour per night. However none of the networks would want that as it isnt entertainment.

True, I don't like either of them, I only used there names as a example that others think the draft will go a certain way.

Plus I enjoy watching them argue over nothing, like they will go off track just to pick at each other, it's like watching 2 kids.

It is all planned IMO. They dont get on there and talk about prospect like. Ok everyone. We are going to do profiles on darius. Go through his strengths, weaknesses, how he plays the run. WIll he have sccess in a 4-3. No. They probaly script to get on and have points to argue on certain prospects.

I dont like any of them and no longer put anything into there opinions.

I think Fairley has more talent and agressiveness, but Dareus doesn't make stupid hits after the whistle. Dareus seems like he could turn out a little like Jay Ratliff and Fairley seems like a Haloti Ngata (Not in their first year of course, so that tells you how good I think Suh will become). So either is fine with me.

Okay, let's set a few things straight. You wern't even aware what position Robert Ayers was going to play. So honestly, it's kind of hard to take anything you say seriously,

The talk about trading down. The CBA won't get done. We won't be able to trade that pick, if you strongly disagree then man up, and bet me something. Cause I won't lose. John Fox has even said himself in so many words, that having that pick is not something you want. We won't know what the player with take with that pick will cost, it hasn't been traded since 1999. Just because we're THE DENVER BRONCOZ ZOMG doesn't mean other teams will screw there own drafts just to
make the Broncos happy. Don't bring it up again, unless you're willing to bet me. Cause if you're not you're wasting your time talking about imaginary things, and frankly. I'd rather you post about seeing a unicorn. Because that has a better chance of happening, then us trading that pick,

I don't think we will take Miller, that's all I said. So throwing out the whole " THE DENVER BRONCIS ARE LOOKING AT EVERYTHING". You have to add in common sense, we're looking at Allen Bailey, and Danny Watkins. You think they have a chance at going #2? No. It's common sense.

I don't even know why I'm even replying to this, because the main point I was trying make was that if we did covet Millet, we wouldn't trade down. Because there's a 'good' chance he could go to Buffalo the pick right after us.

What the hell? Haloti Ngata? ***? That makes absolutely no since. They aren't similiar in any way. You might as well say Fairley could turn out like Dwayne Bowe. It makes about as much since, as the Ngata comparrison.

Jay Ratliff is a NT in a 3-4. Even if Dareus was drafted to a 3-4 teams, he wouldn't play NT.....

yeah neither of those, actually it is more the other way around, but i am more comparing dareus to SApp, and fairley is alot like Jay RAtliff, ps remember ratliff is a small penetrating NT

If I'm pressed I'd have to say Fairley's closest comparison is Kevin Williams

Dareus- reminds me of Seymour(however maybe it's just me but he also reminds me so much of vickerson they are like the same size and both athletic IMO)

That being said Fairley and Dareus could both be better or worse that their comparisons
What's the difference between ignorance and apathy?
